1)주도하라 *행복과 불행은 자신의 선택에 달려있다. be proactive!
Lead the direction of your life. Your active direction leads you to happynes or to unhappyness.

2) 목표를 세우고 행동하라 (사전에 사명서를 작성하면 목표를 뚜렷이할수있아.)
Set the purpose first and act! If you fomulate a mission statement, you can make your purpose clear.

3) 소중한 일주터 먼저하라 Do the important thing first.

4) 상호이익을 모색하라 (한사람의 역략만으로 살수없는 세상이다.)
Persue the mutual interest. In this world one can not live by him self.

5) 경청한다음에 이해시켜라 (남의 이야기를 듣고 자기 이야기한다.)
Hear the other at first well. After hearing explain your thougt.

6) 시너지를 활용하라 (조화롭게 힘을 합한다.) Unite the powers together

7) 심신을 단련하라. Train your body and mind.

Stephen R. Covey is founder and chairman of the Covey Leadership Center, a 200-plus member international firm whose mission is to empower people and organizations to significantly increase their performance capability in order to achieve worthwhile purposes through understanding and living principle-centered leadership. He is also founder of The Institute for Principle Centered Leadership, a non-profit research group dedicated to transforming education and improving the quality of community life.

Dr. Covey has taught leadership principles and management skills for more than 25 years to leaders in business, government, and education. His consulting portfolio contains more than 150 of the Fortune 500 companies, as well as thousands of mid-sized and smaller organizations.

Recent awards include the first Thomas More College Medallion for continued service to humanity (1990), the Utah Symphony 50th Anniversary Award for outstanding national and international contributions (1990), and the McFeely Award from the International Management Council for significant contributions to management and education (1991).

Stephen Covey received an MBA from Harvard and a doctorate from Brigham Young University, where he was Professor of Organizational Behavior and Business Management. He has served as an officer and board member of several organizations.
