spm은 Talairach template brain과는 조금 다른 MNI(Motreal Neurological Institute) template brain을 사용합니다. 양옆으로 조금 더 크고 앞뒤로도 조금 더 크죠. 따라서 spm 결과로 나온 좌표를 talairach daemon 이나 에플릿에 바로 적용할 수 없습니다. mni2tal.m 이라는 matlab code가 있습니다.

spm webpage에 가서 search 엔진에 mni2tal.m 이라고 쳐보세요. 이것을 이용해 mni좌표를 talairach 좌표로 변환한 다음 데먼이나 applet을 사용해서 확인하세요. 만약, mni좌표를 그대로 사용하길 원한다면(요즘은 그냥 mni 좌표를 보고하는 논문들도 꽤 있음) spm anatomy toolbox를 사용하길 권장합니다.
