[알아둘점과 운제점들]

- 레오파드를 패치후, dvd 를 구워서 설치후, 그 이후의 작업이 필요한 것 같은데, 자세한 설명이 없습니다.

( 지금은 위의 [출처]의 사이트에 좋은 해결법들이 올라왔습니다. )

- 타이거를 설치한 상태에서 레오파드를 다른 파티션에 설치해야, 나중에 레오파드에 들어갈 수 있다고 합니다.

( 레오파드에는 다윈부트로더가 없어서 타이거의 다윈부트로더를 이용해야 하므로,

레오파드를 설치후, 타이거를 제거할 수 없다고 합니다. )

( 설치된 타이거에 레오파드를 업그레이드형식[erase 를 하지않음 - 즉, 덮어서설치]으로 시도하면,

또 다른 파티션이 필요없고, 타이거에서 CI 와 QE 가 잡힌경우에는 레오파드를 설치후에도 CI 와 QE 를

사용할 수 있다고 합니다. )

- 아래의 패치작업을 하기전에 또 하나를 복사해서 사용하세요.

복사하지 않으면, 패치된 dvd 에 문제가 발생했을때, 다시 다운로드해야 할 것 같으니까요.

( 이것은 아주 잘 못 된 정보군요.^^;

amd-intel-sse2 폴더 또는 9A499_patcher 폴더속에 BurnThisImage.iso(4.3기가정도)가 생성됩니다. )

[결론] : 9A466 과 9A499 만 다운로드해두시고,

완벽한 해결법이 나올때까지 아직 시도하지 않는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다.

AMD/Intel - SSE3/2 Patcher How-To

This is a mini-tutorial on how to use the patcher. To get the Patcher, search around. It is not hosted anywhere on this site.

To start, you need the patcher, a Leo disc image (9A466 or 9A499), and probably around 22GB of free space (~15GB after Leopard download).

 

 

 

Intel

1] First, you need to edit patch-it.sh - depending on what you're patching, it would be in /<patch folder>/9A466/amd-intel-sse2 patcher for 9A466, and in /<patch folder>/9A499/9A499_patcher

NOTE: If patching 9A466, rename "amd-intel-sse2 patcher" to just "amd-intel-sse2," that should fix some errors with the file not found. Then, start the script from scratch.

You only really need to change one thing - the "$DMG" variable. It's in the first couple of lines. By default, it looks like:

It needs to be edited to point to your Leopard DMG (either 9A466 or 9A499). It would end up look something like this (replace "/Path/To/Your/Leopard/Img/9A499.dmg" with your own directory):

That's basically all the editing you need to do ($APDIR does not need to be edited, and don't edit it!)

2] Executing the script - this is fairly easy, however you need to MAKE SURE you CD to your patcher directory (where your patch-it.sh is). Otherwise, it will get file not found errors. Say your main patching folder was named "patcher" and it was on your desktop, and you were patching 9A499. You would have to do this in terminal:

Similarly, for 9A466 patching:

cd /Users/MyUserName/Desktop/patcher/9A466/amd-intel-sse2 patcher/

CD'ing to the directory is a very important step!

Now, simply type in:

./patch-it.sh

and let it do it's thing. When it's done, the DMG to burn will be in the directory you CD'd to in the above step (eg, /Users/MyUserName/Desktop/patcher/9A499/9A499_patcher/).


3] Burn to a DVD using Disk Utility and enjoy!

 

 

 

 

AMD

1] Edit patch-it.sh (see step 1 under Intel section).
2] Execute the script (see step 2 under Intel section).
3] Applying the patches. You need to mount your installation DMG that was just created, and delete ossmgr.plist from /System/Library/LaunchDaemons. CD to the directory of the AMD patches (either /Users/MyUserName/Desktop/patches/9A499/"amd_patcher Folder"/, or /Users/MyUserName/Desktop/patches/9A466/"AMD_MaxxussPatcher_cpuid_and_decryps Folder"/). For 9A466, type in, each line being a separate command:

If you are patching 9A499, do:

I myself don't have an AMD, so I am going solely based on the how-to included with the patcher. Please notify me of any major mess-ups I may have made, as I cannot test the AMD one myself.

(1) 패치준비하기

 

 

9A499 를 설치하실 분들은 9A499 폴더와 9A499.dmg 파일을 바탕화면에 복사하시고,

9A466 을 설치하실 분들은 9A466 폴더와 9A466.dmg 파일을 바탕화면에 복사하시고,
9A466 폴더속에 있는 amd-intel-sse2 patcher 폴더명을 amd-intel-sse2 으로 이름변경하세요.

DMG 변수를 수정하기 위해서

\9A466\amd-intel-sse2 또는 \9A499\9A499_patcher 폴더속에 있는

patch-it.sh 파일을 두 번 클릭해서 연후, 아래처럼 수정을 하신후, 저장하세요.

(1) 인텔의 (1), (2) 를 적용하세요.

(2) 아래의 작업을 하세요.

패치된 DMG 파일을 두 번 클릭해서 마운트후,
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons 폴더에 있는 ossmgr.plist 를 제거후,

(a) 9A499 사용자분들

(1) Lepoard Boot.sparseimage 를 타이거 바탕화면에 복사후,

두 번 클릭하면, 하얀 상자모양의 아이콘이 생기는데,

이것이 바로 Lepoard Boot.sparseimage 가 마운트된 것 입니다.

마운트된 이 하얀상자모먕의 아이콘의 이름을 Leopard Boot 에서 osx86dvd 로 이름변경하세요.

( 이름변경이 잘 안되면, 화인더의 왼쪽메뉴에서 이것을 오른쪽클릭후, 이름변경해보세요. )

그런후, 마운트된 osx86dvd 를 오른쪽클릭후, 추출(언마운트)하세요.

그런후, Lepoard Boot.sparseimage 를 오른쪽클릭후, 디스크 유틸리티로 실행후,

디스크 유틸리티에서 [변환]을 선택해서,

9A466.dmg 로 이름변경하고, 저장위치를 바탕화면으로 설정후, 변환하세요.

( 저의 경우는 이 변환작업시간이 40분정도 걸렸던 것 같습니다. )

참, 9A466 폴더도 바탕화면에 복사해놓으시는 것을 잊지마세요.

그런후, DMG 변수를 수정하기 위해서

\9A466\amd-intel-sse2 폴더속에 있는

patch-it.sh 파일을 두 번 클릭해서 연후,

주황색부분을 알맞게 수정하고 (자신의아이디만 알맞게 수정하세요.),

황색부분을 제거후, 저장하세요.

( 저는 이 koolkal 의 방법으로 BurnThisImage.iso 을 만든후, dvd 로 구워서 설치했지만 실패했습니다.

실패원인이 이 팁이 잘 못 될 가능성이 30%, 저의 컴사양이 9A466 과 호환성이 좋지 않아서 70%정도로 생각됩니다. )

( 불완전한 정보이므로, 가능하면, 사용하지 않는 것이 좋을 것 같습니다. )

잘 못 된 정보를 알려주시면, 수정하겠습니다.

그리고, 모든 분들이 터미널에서 patch-it.sh 파일이 있는 폴더로 이동후, 이 명령어 ( ./patch-it.sh )를 사용하시면, 패치된 9A466.dmg 파일이 만들어지는 것 같습니다. 이 명령어에서 ./ 와 patch-it.sh 를 꼭 붙여서 입력하세요.

50분정도만에 dmg 이미지가 만들어졌는데, 많은 오류메시지들이 보이는데, 이것( chmod: /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/: No such file or directory cp: /Volumes/osx86dvd/System/Library/Extensions/IOATAFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext/Contents/Info.plist: No such file or directory )이 일부분입니다.

아마, 무언가 잘 못 했거나 위의 오류메시지에 보이는 kext 파일등을 dvd 로 설치후 대체해주면 될 것 같습니다.
