Mirko Gozzoli & Edita Daniute dance togetherWe have received a confirmation from Edita, that Mirko Gozzoli & Edita Daniute formed a new partnership and are planning to compete in the professional ranks soon. Mirko and partner Alessia Betti terminated their long term partnership last month. They were multiple times World Champions in both Amateur and Professional Standard style. They were winners of Blackpool, UK Open, german Open and virtuall all the major world competititons.
Undoubtly, this partnership between such talented two dancers, will prove to be exciting for all of us. We eagerly awaiting their first appearance on the dance floor. Good luck!
미르코 고졸리와 에디타 다니우떼는 새로운 파트너쉽을 하기로 결정했다고 에디따 측이 밝혔다. 이들은 곧 프로페셔날로 경기를 뛸 계획이다. 미르코와 전 파트너인 알레시아 베티는 지난 달에 오랜 파트너쉽을 끝냈다 그들은 아마츄어와 프로페셔날에서 여러번 챔피온을 한 적이 있으며 블랙풀, UK, German Open 그리고 실질적으로 모든 메이져 월드 대회에서 우승을 차지했다.
에디타와 전 파트너인 아루나스 비조카스는 개인적(결혼과 딸의 출산) 이유로 2007년 파트너쉽을 그만두었다. 이들이 파트너쉽을 하는 동안 여러해 리투아니아의 챔피온을 지냈으며 2007년 블랙풀 아마추어와 유러피언, 월드 아마츄어 스탠다드에서 우승을 하였다. 에디타는 이태리 출신의 파트너 안젤로 마도니아와 댄싱을 다시 시작하였으나 6개월 후 그들은 파트너쉽을 그만 두었다. 미르코와 에디타는 둘 다 뛰어난 기량을 가진 선수여서 언제 그들이 무대에 설지 사뭇 기대가 된다. 올해는 앞으로 두어 달을 남겨 놓고 있고 내년 UK 대회에서 그들을 봤으면 하는 기대감이 크다.
현재 알레시아 베티의 남자 친구인 안젤로 마도니아(에디타의 전 파트너)와 알레시아의 추이가 어떨지 기대가 되면서 2010년의 프로페셔날 스탠다드의 ‘ Star's War in Professional Standard' 를 잔뜩 기대해 본다.
내년에도 멋진 미르코의 춤을 볼 수 있다는 데 우선 한 표!
개인적으로는 내가 좋아하는 두 선수(에디타와 미르코)가 하모니를 이룰 때 어떤 멋진 스타일의 춤이 보여 질지 벌써부터 마음이 설래여 온다. |
Edita and former partner of many years, Arunas Bizokas, stopped dancing at the end of 2007 for family reasons. Edita got married and gave birth to a baby daugther Evita in 2007. During the partnership, they were the Lithuanian champions for many years. Towards the end of their career they won the Blackpool Festival and, in 2007, they also became the European and World Amateur Standard champions. Edita has restarted dancing with the Italian partner Angelo Madonia but this was a short partnership lasting some 6 months. .
