(1) 개설신청서 접수해외은행인수의 경우와 같다.(2) 신용장의 개설① 이자에 관한 표시수출상이 일정기간 신용을 공여하므로 수입상은 그에 대한 이자를 지급하여야 하며 이에는 두 가지 방법이 있다. 하나는 이자가 신용장금액에 포함되어 있어 만기에 이 금액을 수입상이 지급하면 되는 경우이며, 다른 하나는 이자가 신용장금액에 포함되어 있지 않아 어음의 만기에 수입상이 원금과 이자를 수출상에게 지급하여야 되는 경우이다. 여기서의 이자는 매입은행이 계산하여 개설은행에 알려주는 것이 일반적이다.이자가 신용장금액에 포함된 경우에는 “Interest up to the maturity is for account of beneficiary라고 기재한다. 이자가 신용장금액에 포함되지 않은 경우에는 Interest up to the maturity is for account of buyer and the negotiating bank is requested to inform us of the interest up to the maturity at prime prevailing rate 라고 기재한다.
② 어음에 관한 표시환어음의 지급인은 신용장상 drawn on 다음에 ourselves 로 기재하고 at sight 에 기한을 표시한다.
③ 상환지시상환에 관한 지시로서 개설은행은 유전스기간 만기에 대금상환을 약속하므로 인수은행이 개설은행의 무예치환거래은행 때에는“Instruction to the negotiating bank, In reimbursement, you are authorized to reimburse yourselves for the face amount of drafts (or plus interest) only at maturity under advice to us.라고 기재한다. 송금베이스로 상환하고자 하는 경우에는“We will make payment at maturity as per your instructions to be received라고 기재한다. 5) 연지급신용장의 개설일람지급신용장양식만 보유하고 있는 때에는“We hereby issue in your favour this documentary credit which is available by payment against presentation 에서 by payment대신에 “by deferred payment at (만기일)로 기재한다. 그리고 지급보증문언도“We hereby engage that deferred payment will duly made against documents presented in conformity with the terms of this credit and duly honoured at maturity.”라고 표시한다. 유전스기간을 표시하는 방식은 환어음 인수가 없으므로 “ at xxx days after sight”로는 표시하지 않고 xxx days after the date of shipment of
