[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 다니엘2장
1. 느부갓네살의 통치 제이년에 느부갓네살이 꿈들을 꾸매 그것들로 말미암아 그의 영이 근심하고 그의 잠이 깨서 달아나니라.
And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.
2. 그때에 왕이 자기 꿈들을 왕에게 알려 주도록 마술사들과 별을 살피는 자들과 마법사들과 갈대아 사람들을 부르라고 명령하매 그들이 와서 왕 앞에 서니라.
Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.
3. 왕이 그들에게 이르되, 내가 한 꿈을 꾸고 그 꿈을 알기 위해 내 영이 근심하였도다, 하매
And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.
4. 이에 갈대아 사람들이 왕에게 시리아 말로 이르되, 오 왕이여, 영원토록 사시옵소서. 그 꿈을 왕의 종들에게 말씀하소서. 우리가 그 해석을 보여 드리겠나이다, 하니
Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation.
5. 왕이 갈대아 사람들에게 응답하여 이르되, 그것이 내게서 떠났도다. 만일 너희가 그 꿈과 그것의 해석을 내게 알려 주지 아니하면 너희를 여러 조각으로 쪼개며 너희 집들을 거름더미로 만들 것이요,
The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.
6. 만일 너희가 그 꿈과 그것의 해석을 보이면 선물과 보상과 큰 명예를 내게서 받으리라. 그런즉 그 꿈과 그것의 해석을 내게 보이라, 하거늘
But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.
7. 그들이 다시 응답하여 이르되, 왕께서는 그 꿈을 자신의 종들에게 이르소서. 그리하면 우리가 그것의 해석을 보여 드리겠나이다, 하매
They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will shew the interpretation of it.
8. 왕이 응답하여 이르되, 내가 분명히 아노라. 그것이 내게서 떠났음을 너희가 알므로 시간을 벌려 하는도다.
The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.
9. 그러나 너희가 그 꿈을 내게 알려 주지 아니하면 너희를 위한 칙령은 오직 하나뿐이니 이는 때가 변할 때까지 너희가 거짓말과 부패한 말을 예비하여 내 앞에서 말하려 하였기 때문이라. 그러므로 내게 그 꿈을 이르라. 그리하면 너희가 능히 그것의 해석도 내게 보일 줄을 내가 알리라, 하더라.
But if ye will not make known unto me the dream, [there is but] one decree for you: for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can shew me the interpretation thereof.
10. 갈대아 사람들이 왕 앞에서 응답하여 이르되, 땅에는 왕의 그 일을 보여 줄 자가 아무도 없나이다. 그러므로 어떤 왕이나 군주나 치리자도 이런 일들을 마술사나 별을 살피는 자나 갈대아 사람에게 물어 본 적이 없었나이다.
The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the kings matter: therefore [there is] no king, lord, nor ruler, [that] asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
11. 왕이 요구하시는 것은 드문 일이니이다. 육체와 함께 거하지 아니하는 신들 외에는 왕 앞에서 그것을 보여 줄 자가 아무도 없나이다, 하매
And [it is] a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is none other that can shew it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.
12. 왕이 이런 까닭으로 분노하고 심히 격노하여 바빌론의 모든 지혜자들을 멸하라고 명령하니라.
For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise [men] of Babylon.
13. 지혜자들을 죽이라는 칙령이 나가니 그들이 다니엘과 그의 동료들을 죽이려고 찾았더라.
And the decree went forth that the wise [men] should be slain; and they sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.
14. 그때에 왕의 호위대장 아리옥이 나가서 바빌론의 지혜자들을 죽이려 하매 다니엘이 그에게 계략과 지혜로 응답하니라.
Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of the kings guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise [men] of Babylon:
15. 그가 왕의 대장 아리옥에게 응답하여 이르되, 왕이 내린 칙령이 어찌 그리 급하니이까? 하니 이에 아리옥이 그 일을 다니엘에게 알리매
He answered and said to Arioch the kings captain, Why [is] the decree [so] hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.
16. 그때에 다니엘이 들어가서 왕에게 요청하여 왕이 자기에게 시간을 주면 자기가 왕에게 그 해석을 보여 주겠다고 하니라.
Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him time, and that he would shew the king the interpretation.
17. 그때에 다니엘이 자기 집으로 가서 자기 동료 하나냐와 미사엘과 아사랴에게 그 일을 알리고
Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:
18. 이로써 하늘의 [하나님]께서 이 은밀한 일에 관하여 긍휼을 베푸사 다니엘과 그의 동료들이 바빌론의 나머지 지혜자들과 함께 죽임을 당하지 아니하게 하실 것을 그들이 구하게 하니라.
That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise [men] of Babylon.
19. 그때에 그 은밀한 일이 밤의 환상 속에서 다니엘에게 계시되매 그때에 다니엘이 하늘의 [하나님]을 찬송하니라.
Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.
20. 다니엘이 응답하여 이르되, 영원무궁토록 [하나님]의 이름을 찬송할지니 지혜와 능력이 그분께 속하였도다.
Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:
21. 그분께서는 때와 시기를 바꾸시며 왕들을 폐하시고 왕들을 세우시며 지혜로운 자에게 지혜를 주시고 명철을 아는 자들에게 지식을 주시는도다.
And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
22. 그분께서는 깊고 은밀한 것들을 계시하시고 어둠 속에 있는 것을 아시며 또 빛이 그분과 함께 거하는도다.
He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what [is] in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.
23. 오 내 조상들의 [하나님]이여, 주께서 내게 지혜와 능력을 주시고 우리가 주께 구한 것을 이제 내게 알려 주셨사오니 내가 주께 감사하오며 주를 찬양하나이다. 이제 주께서 왕의 일을 우리에게 알려 주셨나이다, 하니라.
I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee: for thou hast [now] made known unto us the kings matter.
24. 그러므로 다니엘이 들어가서 왕이 바빌론의 지혜자들을 멸하기 위해 세운 아리옥에게 이르니라. 다니엘이 가서 그에게 이같이 이르되, 바빌론의 지혜자들을 멸하지 말고 나를 왕 앞으로 데려가소서. 그리하면 내가 왕에게 그 해석을 보여 드리리이다, 하니라.
Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to destroy the wise [men] of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not the wise [men] of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will shew unto the king the interpretation.
25. 이에 아리옥이 급히 다니엘을 왕 앞으로 데려가고 왕에게 이같이 이르되, 내가 유다의 포로들 중에서 한 사람을 찾았사오니 그가 왕께 그 해석을 알려 드리리이다, 하니라.
Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation.
26. 왕이 벨드사살이라는 이름을 가진 다니엘에게 응답하여 이르되, 내가 본 꿈과 그것의 해석을 네가 능히 내게 알려 줄 수 있겠느냐? 하니
The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name [was] Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?
27. 다니엘이 왕 앞에서 대답하여 이르되, 왕이 다그쳐 물으신 그 은밀한 일은 지혜자들이나 별을 살피는 자들이나 마술사들이나 점쟁이들이 능히 왕께 보여 드릴 수 없는 것이니이다.
Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise [men], the astrologers, the magicians, the soothsayers, shew unto the king;
28. 그러나 은밀한 일들을 계시하시며 마지막 날들에 있을 일을 느부갓네살 왕에게 알려 주시는 한 [하나님]이 하늘에 계시나이다. 왕의 침상에서 본 왕의 꿈 곧 왕의 머리 속의 환상들은 이러하니이다.
But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these;
29. 오 왕이여, 왕으로 말하건대 왕의 침상에서 왕의 마음에 일어난 생각들은 이후에 일어날 일이오며 은밀한 일들을 계시하시는 이가 앞으로 일어날 일을 왕에게 알려 주시나이다.
As for thee, O king, thy thoughts came [into thy mind] upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter: and he that revealeth secrets maketh known to thee what shall come to pass.
30. 그러나 나로 말하건대 그분께서 이 은밀한 일을 내게 계시하신 것은 살아 있는 모든 사람보다 내가 더 많이 가지고 있는 어떤 지혜 때문이 아니니이다. 다만 이 일은 왕께 그 해석을 알리어 왕으로 하여금 왕의 마음의 생각들을 알게 할 자들을 위한 것이니이다.
But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for [any] wisdom that I have more than any living, but for [their] sakes that shall make known the interpretation to the king, and that thou mightest know the thoughts of thy heart.
31. 오 왕이여, 왕이 보셨사온대, 보소서, 큰 형상이니이다. 이 큰 형상이 왕 앞에 섰는데 그것의 광채가 뛰어나며 그것의 형태가 두려웠고
Thou, O king, sawest, and behold a great image. This great image, whose brightness [was] excellent, stood before thee; and the form thereof [was] terrible.
32. 이 형상의 머리는 정금이요, 그의 가슴과 두 팔은 은이요, 그의 배와 두 넓적다리는 놋이요,
This images head [was] of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,
33. 그의 두 다리는 쇠요, 그의 두 발은 얼마는 쇠요, 얼마는 진흙이었나이다.
His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
34. 왕이 보셨는데 마침내 손을 대지 아니하고 깎아 낸 돌이 그 형상을 치되 쇠와 진흙으로 된 그의 두 발을 쳐서 그것들을 산산조각 내매
Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet [that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
35. 그때에 쇠와 진흙과 놋과 은과 금이 다 산산조각 나서 여름 타작마당의 겨같이 되어 바람에 쓸려갔으며 그것들의 자리가 없어졌고 그 형상을 친 돌은 큰 산이 되어 온 땅을 채웠나이다.
Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
36. 그 꿈은 이러한즉 우리가 왕 앞에서 그것의 해석을 고하리이다.
This [is] the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.
37. 오 왕이여, 왕은 왕들의 왕이시오니 하늘의 [하나님]께서 왕에게 왕국과 권능과 세력과 영광을 주셨나이다.
Thou, O king, [art] a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
38. 사람들의 자녀들과 들의 짐승들과 하늘의 날짐승들이 어느 곳에 거하든지 그분께서 그것들을 왕의 손에 주시고 왕을 그 모든 것을 다스릴 치리자로 삼으셨나니 왕은 이 금 머리이니이다.
And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou [art] this head of gold.
39. 왕 이후에 왕의 왕국보다 못한 다른 왕국이 일어날 것이요, 셋째로 또 다른 놋 왕국이 온 땅을 다스릴 것이며
And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
40. 넷째 왕국은 쇠같이 강하리니 쇠는 모든 물건을 산산조각 내며 정복하나이다. 이 모든 것을 부수는 쇠같이 그 왕국이 모든 것을 산산조각 내고 상하게 하리이다.
And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all [things]: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.
41. 왕께서 그 두 발과 발가락들이 얼마는 토기장이의 진흙이요, 얼마는 쇠인 것을 보신 것 같이 그 왕국이 나누일 것이로되 왕께서 쇠와 진흙이 섞인 것을 보신 것 같이 그 왕국에 쇠의 강함이 있으리이다.
And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.
42. 그 두 발의 발가락들이 얼마는 쇠요, 얼마는 진흙인 것 같이 그 왕국도 얼마는 강하되 얼마는 부서질 것이며
And [as] the toes of the feet [were] part of iron, and part of clay, [so] the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
43. 왕께서 쇠와 진흙이 섞인 것을 보신 것 같이 그들이 자신을 사람들의 씨와 섞을 터이나 쇠와 진흙이 섞이지 아니함같이 그들이 서로에게 달라붙지 못하리이다.
And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.
44. 이 왕들의 시대에 하늘의 [하나님]께서 한 왕국을 세우실 터인데 그것은 결코 멸망하지 아니하리이다. 그 왕국은 다른 백성에게 남겨지지 아니하며 이 모든 왕국들을 산산조각 내어 소멸시키고 영원히 서리이다.
And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.
45. 손을 대지 아니하고 산에서 깎아 낸 돌이 쇠와 놋과 진흙과 은과 금을 산산조각 낸 것을 왕께서 보셨사온즉 위대하신 [하나님]께서 이후에 있을 일을 왕에게 알리셨나이다. 그 꿈은 확실하며 그것의 해석은 분명하나이다, 하니라.
Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream [is] certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
46. 그때에 느부갓네살 왕이 얼굴을 대고 엎드려 다니엘에게 경배하고 명령하여 그들이 그에게 봉헌물과 향기로운 냄새를 드리게 하니라.
Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
47. 왕이 다니엘에게 응답하여 이르되, 네가 능히 이 은밀한 일을 드러내는 것을 보니 진실로 너희 [하나님]은 신들의 신이시요 왕들의 [주]시며 은밀한 일들을 드러내시는 이시로다, 하고
The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth [it is], that your God [is] a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou couldest reveal this secret.
48. 그때에 왕이 다니엘을 지위가 높은 자로 삼으며 그에게 큰 선물을 많이 주고 그를 바빌론 온 지방을 다스릴 치리자로 삼으며 총독들의 우두머리로 삼아 바빌론의 모든 지혜자들 위에 두니라.
Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise [men] of Babylon.
49. 그때에 다니엘이 왕에게 요청하매 왕이 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 세워 바빌론 지방의 일들을 다스리게 하였으며 다니엘은 왕의 문에 앉았더라.
Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel [sat] in the gate of the king.
