[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 고린도후서10장
1. 나 바울은 이제 그리스도의 온유함과 부드러움을 힘입어 직접 너희에게 간청하노라. 내가 너희와 함께 너희 가운데 있으면 비천하고 떠나 있으면 너희를 향해 담대하지만
Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence [am] base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:
2. 너희에게 간청하노니 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때에 확신을 가지고 너희를 담대히 대하지 않게 하라. 그러나 우리를 육신에 따라 걷는 자로 생각하는 자들에 대하여는 내가 그런 확신을 가지고 담대히 대할 줄로 생각하노라.
But I beseech [you], that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.
3. 비록 우리가 육신 안에서 걸으나 육신을 따라 싸우지 아니하노니
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4. (우리의 전쟁 무기는 육신에 속하지 아니하고 [하나님]을 통해 강력하여 요새들도 무너뜨리느니라.)
the weapons of our warfare [are] not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;
5. 우리는 상상하는 것과 또 [하나님]을 아는 지식을 대적하여 스스로를 높이는 모든 높은 것을 무너뜨리고 모든 생각을 사로잡아 그리스도께 순종하게 하며
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6. 너희의 순종이 이루어질 때에 모든 불순종을 응징하려고 준비되어 있노라.
And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
7. 너희는 겉모습대로 사물을 보느냐? 만일 어떤 사람이 자기를 그리스도의 사람이라고 믿을진대 이것 즉 자기가 그리스도의 사람인 것 같이 우리도 그리스도의 사람인 것을 스스로 다시 생각할지니라.
Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christs, let him of himself think this again, that, as he [is] Christs, even so [are] we Christs.
8. [주]께서 우리에게 주신 우리의 권위는 너희를 무너뜨리라고 주신 것이 아니요, 세우라고 주신 것인즉 그것에 대하여 내가 조금 더 자랑해도 부끄럽지 아니하리니
For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:
9. 이것은 내가 편지로 너희를 무섭게 하려고 하는 것처럼 보이지 아니하게 하려 함이라.
That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.
10. 그들이 말하기를, 그의 편지는 무게가 있고 힘이 있으나 그가 몸으로 함께할 때는 약하고 그의 말도 형편없다, 하는도다.
For [his] letters, say they, [are] weighty and powerful; but [his] bodily presence [is] weak, and [his] speech contemptible.
11. 그런 자는 이것을 생각할지니 곧 떠나 있을 때에 편지로 말하는 우리가 어떠함같이 함께 있을 때에 행하는 우리도 그와 같으리라는 것이라.
Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word by letters when we are absent, such [will we be] also in deed when we are present.
12. 우리는 자기 자신을 추천하는 자들과 감히 한 패가 되거나 혹은 그들과 우리 자신을 비교하려 하지 아니하노라. 오직 그들은 자기들을 기준으로 자기들을 판단하며 자기들 가운데서 자기들을 비교하니 지혜가 없도다.
For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
13. 그러나 우리는 우리의 분량 밖의 것들을 자랑하려 하지 아니하고 오직 [하나님]께서 우리에게 나누어 주신 규칙의 분량에 따라 자랑하려 하노니 곧 너희에게까지 다다른 분량이라.
But we will not boast of things without [our] measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God hath distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.
14. 우리는 마치 너희에게 다다르지 아니한 것 같이 우리의 분량을 넘어 뻗어나가지 아니하노니 우리는 그리스도의 복음을 선포하는 중에 너희에게도 이르렀느니라.
For we stretch not ourselves beyond [our measure], as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in [preaching] the gospel of Christ:
15. 우리는 우리의 분량 밖의 것들 곧 다른 사람들이 수고한 것들을 자랑하지 아니하며 오직 너희의 믿음이 자라날 때에 우리의 규칙에 따라 우리가 너희를 통하여 넘치도록 확장되기를 바라노라.
Not boasting of things without [our] measure, [that is], of other mens labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,
16. 이것은 너희를 넘어선 지역에서 복음을 선포하고 이미 예비되어 우리 손에 들어온 것들을 다른 사람의 구획선 안에서 자랑하지 아니하려 함이라.
To preach the gospel in the [regions] beyond you, [and] not to boast in another mans line of things made ready to our hand.
17. 오직 자랑하는 자는 [주] 안에서 자랑할지니
But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
18. 자기를 추천하는 자가 인정받지 아니하고 [주]께서 추천하시는 자가 인정받느니라.
For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.
