[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 갈라디아서4장
1. 이제 내가 말하노니 상속자가 모든 것의 주인이나 아이일 때에는 전혀 종과 다르지 아니하고
Now I say, [That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
2. 아버지가 정한 때까지 가정교사들과 감독하는 자들 밑에 있느니라.
But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
3. 이와 같이 우리도 아이였을 때에 세상의 초등 원리 밑에서 종노릇 하였느니라.
Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:
4. 그러나 충만한 때가 이르매 [하나님]께서 자신의 [아들]을 보내사 여자에게서 나게 하시고 율법 아래 있게 하셨나니
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,
5. 이것은 율법 아래 있는 자들을 구속하시고 또 우리가 아들로 입양되게 하려 하심이라.
To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
6. 너희가 아들이므로 [하나님]께서 자신의 [아들]의 [영]을 너희 마음속에 보내사, 아바, [아버지], 하고 부르짖게 하셨느니라.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
7. 그러므로 네가 더 이상 종이 아니요 아들이니 아들이면 그리스도를 통한 [하나님]의 상속자니라.
Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
8. 그럼에도 불구하고 너희가 [하나님]을 알지 못하던 때에는 본래 신들이 아닌 것들을 섬겼느니라.
Howbeit then, when ye knew not God, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
9. 그러나 이제 너희가 [하나님]을 안 뒤에 혹은 [하나님]께 알려진 뒤에 어찌하여 다시 약하고 천한 초등 원리로 돌아가 다시 그것에 종노릇 하려 하느냐?
But now, after that ye have known God, or rather are known of God, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
10. 너희가 날과 달과 때와 해를 지키니
Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
11. 내가 너희를 위하여 헛되이 수고하였을까 너희로 인해 염려하노라.
I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labour in vain.
12. 형제들아, 내가 너희에게 간청하노니 내가 너희와 같이 되었은즉 나와 같이 되라. 너희가 내게 조금도 해를 끼치지 아니하였느니라.
Brethren, I beseech you, be as I [am]; for I [am] as ye [are]: ye have not injured me at all.
13. 너희가 알거니와 내가 처음에 육체의 연약함을 통해 너희에게 복음을 선포하였노라.
Ye know how through infirmity of the flesh I preached the gospel unto you at the first.
14.내 육체 안에 나를 시험하는 것이 있었으되 너희가 그것을 업신여기지 아니하고 거부하지도 아니하였으며 오히려 나를 [하나님]의 천사같이 곧 그리스도 예수님같이 받아들였도다.
And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, [even] as Christ Jesus.
15. 그런데 너희가 말하던 그 복된 일이 어디 있느냐? 내가 너희에게 증언하노니 너희가 할 수만 있었으면 너희 눈이라도 빼어 내게 주었으리라.
Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if [it had been] possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.
16. 그런즉 내가 너희에게 진리를 말하므로 너희의 원수가 되었느냐?
Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
17. 그들이 너희를 열심히 사모하나 좋지 아니하니라. 참으로 그들은 너희가 자기들을 사모하게 하려고 너희를 떼어 놓으려 하는도다.
They zealously affect you, [but] not well; yea, they would exclude you, that ye might affect them.
18. 그러나 좋은 일로 열심히 사모함을 받는 것은 내가 너희와 함께 있을 때뿐 아니라 언제라도 좋으니라.
But [it is] good to be zealously affected always in [a] good [thing], and not only when I am present with you.
19. 나의 어린 자녀들아, 너희 속에 그리스도께서 형성되시기까지 내가 다시 너희를 위해 산고를 겪노라.
My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
20. 내가 이제 너희와 함께 있어 내 목소리를 바꾸기 원하노니 나는 너희에 대하여 의심하노라.
I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.
21. 내게 말하라. 율법 아래 있고자 하는 자들아, 너희가 율법을 듣지 아니하느냐?
Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law?
22. 기록된바, 아브라함에게 두 아들이 있었는데 하나는 노예 여종에게서 났고 다른 하나는 자유로운 여자에게서 났다, 하였느니라.
For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23. 그러나 노예 여자에게서 난 자는 육체를 따라 태어났고 자유로운 여자에게서 난 자는 약속으로 말미암았느니라.
But he [who was] of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman [was] by promise.
24. 그것들은 풍유(비유)니라. 이 여자들은 두 언약인데 하나는 시내 산에서 나와 종이 되게 하는 자니 곧 하갈이라.
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25. 이 하갈은 아라비아에 있는 시내 산이요, 지금 있는 예루살렘에 해당하는 곳으로 자기 아이들과 더불어 종노릇 하느니라.
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26. 그러나 위에 있는 예루살렘은 자유로운 자니 곧 우리 모두의 어머니라.
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27. 기록된바, 수태하지 못하는 자여, 너는 기뻐할지어다. 산고를 치르지 못하는 자여, 너는 소리 지르고 외칠지어다. 황폐한 자가 남편 있는 여자보다 더 많은 아이를 두느니라, 하였느니라.
For it is written, Rejoice, [thou] barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28. 형제들아, 이제 우리는 이삭과 같이 약속의 아이들이니라.
Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29. 그러나 그때에 육체를 따라 태어난 자가 [성령]을 따라 태어난 자를 핍박한 것 같이 지금도 그러하도다.
But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him [that was born] after the Spirit, even so [it is] now.
30. 그럼에도 불구하고 성경 기록이 무어라 말하느냐? 노예 여자와 그녀의 아들을 내쫓으라. 노예 여자의 아들이 자유로운 여자의 아들과 함께 상속자가 되지 못하리라, 하느니라.
Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31. 그런즉, 형제들아, 이처럼 우리는 노예 여자의 아이가 아니요 자유로운 자의 아이니라.
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.
