[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 갈라디아서5장
1. 그리스도께서 우리를 자유롭게 하려고 자유를 주셨으니 그러므로 그 안에 굳게 서고 다시 속박의 멍에를 메지 말라.
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
2. 보라, 나 바울이 너희에게 말하노니 너희가 만일 할례를 받으면 그리스도께서 너희에게 아무 유익도 주지 못하리라.
Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.
3. 내가 할례를 받은 각 사람에게 다시 증언하노니 그는 율법 전체를 행할 의무를 가진 자니라.
For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.
4. 너희 중에 누구든지 율법으로 의롭게 된 자에게는 그리스도께서 아무런 효력이 없으며 너희는 은혜에서 떨어져 나갔느니라.
Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
5. 우리가 [성령]을 통해 믿음으로 의의 소망을 기다리나니
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
6. 예수 그리스도 안에서는 할례나 무할례나 아무 효력이 없으되 오직 사랑으로 활동하는 믿음뿐이니라.
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
7. 너희가 잘 달렸는데 누가 너희를 막아 너희가 진리에 순종하지 못하게 하더냐?
Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?
8. 이렇게 설득하는 것은 너희를 부르시는 분에게서 나지 아니하느니라.
This persuasion [cometh] not of him that calleth you.
9. 작은 누룩 하나가 온 덩어리를 뜨게 하느니라.
A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump.
10. 나는 너희가 조금도 다른 생각을 품지 아니할 줄을 [주]를 통하여 확신하노라. 그러나 누구든지 너희를 어지럽히는 자는 자기의 심판을 담당하리라.
I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubleth you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.
11. 형제들아, 나 곧 내가 아직도 할례를 선포한다면 어찌하여 아직도 핍박을 받겠느냐? 그렇다면 십자가의 실족하게 하는 것이 그쳤으리라.
And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.
12. 나는 너희를 어지럽히는 자들이 아예 잘려 나가기를 원하노라.
I would they were even cut off which trouble you.
13.형제들아, 너희가 부르심을 받아 자유함에 이르렀으나 오직 자유를 육신의 기회로 쓰지 말고 사랑으로 서로 섬기라.
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only [use] not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
14. 온 율법은 이것 즉, 너는 네 이웃을 네 자신과 같이 사랑하라, 하신 한 말씀 안에서 성취되었느니라.
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, [even] in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
15. 만일 너희가 서로 물고 삼키면 서로가 서로에게 소멸되지 않도록 조심하라.
But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
16. 그런즉 내가 이것을 말하노니 곧 [성령] 안에서 걸으라. 그리하면 너희가 육신의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라.
[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17.육신은 [성령]을 대적하여 욕심을 부리고 [성령]은 육신을 대적하나니 이 둘이 서로 반대가 되므로 너희가 원하는 것들을 능히 하지 못하느니라.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18. 그러나 너희가 [성령]의 인도를 받으면 율법 아래 있지 아니하니라.
But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.
19. 이제 육신의 행위들은 명백하니 이것들이라. 곧 간음과 음행과 부정함과 색욕과
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
20. 우상 숭배와 마술과 증오와 불화와 경쟁과 진노와 다툼과 폭동과 이단 파당과
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
21. 시기와 살인과 술 취함과 흥청댐과 또 그와 같은 것들이라. 내가 또한 전에 너희에게 말한 것 같이 이것들에 대하여 미리 말하노니 그런 일들을 행하는 자들은 결코 [하나님]의 왕국을 상속받지 못하리라.
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.
22. 그러나 [성령]의 열매는 사랑과 기쁨과 화평과 오래 참음과 부드러움과 선함과 믿음과
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23. 온유와 절제니 이 같은 것을 대적할 법이 없느니라.
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24. 그리스도께 속한 사람들은 애착들과 정욕들과 함께 육신을 십자가에 못 박았느니라.
And they that are Christs have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25. 만일 우리가 [성령] 안에서 살면 또한 [성령] 안에서 걸을지니
If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26. 우리가 헛된 영광을 구하여 서로 노엽게 하거나 서로 시기하지 말지니라.
Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.
