[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 에베소서3장
1. 이런 까닭에 너희 이방인들을 위해 예수 그리스도의 갇힌 자 된 나 바울이 말하노니
For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
2. 너희를 위해 내게 주신 [하나님]의 은혜의 경륜을 너희가 들었으리라.
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3. 곧 계시로 그분께서 내게 그 신비를 알리셨나니 (그것은 내가 전에 몇 마디 적은 것과 같으니라.
How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; I wrote afore in few words,
4. 그것으로 말미암아 너희가 읽을 때에 그리스도의 신비에 대하여 내가 알고 있는 바를 깨닫게 되리라.)
Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ
5. 그분께서는 이제 자신의 거룩한 사도들과 선지자들에게 [성령]을 통해 이 신비를 계시하신 것 같이 다른 시대들에는 사람들의 아들들에게 그것을 알리지 아니하셨는데
Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
6. 이 신비는 곧 복음으로 말미암아 이방인들이 그리스도 안에서 동료 상속자가 되고 같은 몸에 속하게 되며 그분의 약속에 참여하는 자가 된다는 것이라.
That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
7. 내게 주신 [하나님]의 은혜의 선물에 따라 그분의 권능이 효력 있게 활동함을 힘입어 내가 이 복음의 사역자가 되었노라.
Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
8. 그분께서 모든 성도 가운데 가장 작은 자보다 더 작은 나에게 이 은혜를 주신 것은 헤아릴 수 없는 그리스도의 부요함을 내가 이방인들 가운데 선포하게 하고
Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
9. 또 예수 그리스도에 의해 모든 것을 창조하신 [하나님] 안에 세상이 시작된 이후로 감추어져 온 이 신비에 참여하는 것이 무엇인지 모든 사람들이 보게 하려 하심이라.
And to make all [men] see what [is] the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
10. 그 목적은 이제 교회를 사용하사 하늘의 처소들에 있는 정사들과 권능들에게 [하나님]의 갖가지 지혜를 알게 하려 하심이라.
To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11. 이것은 곧 그분께서 그리스도 예수 우리 [주] 안에서 작정하신 영원한 목적에 따른 것이라.
According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
12. 그리스도 안에서 우리가 그분을 믿는 믿음을 통해 담대함을 가지고 확신 있게 나아감을 얻느니라.
In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
13. 그러므로 내가 바라노니 너희를 위한 나의 환난들로 인해 낙심하지 말라. 그것은 너희의 영광이니라.
Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
14. 이런 까닭에 내가 우리 [주] 예수 그리스도의 [아버지]
For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
15. 곧 하늘과 땅에 있는 온 가족에게 이름을 주신 분께 무릎을 꿇고 비노니
Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
16. 그분께서 자신의 영광의 풍성함에 따라 자신의 [영]을 통해 너희 속사람을 능력으로 강건하게 하시며
That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
17. 믿음을 통해 그리스도께서 너희 마음속에 거하게 하시고 또 너희가 사랑 안에서 뿌리를 내리고 터를 잡아
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
18. 능히 모든 성도와 함께 너비와 길이와 깊이와 높이가 어떠함을 깨닫고
May be able to comprehend with all saints what [is] the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
19. 지식을 뛰어넘는 그리스도의 사랑을 알아 [하나님]의 모든 충만하심으로 충만하게 되기를 구하노라.
And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
20. 이제 우리 안에서 일하는 권능에 따라 우리가 구하거나 생각하는 모든 것 이상으로 심히 넘치도록 능히 행하실 분에게
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
21. 곧 그분에게 영광이 그리스도 예수를 통해 교회 안에서 모든 시대에 걸쳐 끝없는 세상까지 있기를 원하노라. 아멘.
Unto him [be] glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
