[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 고린도후서8장
1. 또한 형제들아, 마케도니아의 교회들에 베푸신 [하나님]의 은혜를 우리가 너희에게 알리노니
Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;
2. 고난의 큰 시련 속에서도 그들의 넘치는 기쁨과 극심한 가난이 그들로 하여금 풍성하고 너그러운 선물을 넘치도록
하게 하였도다.
How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.
3. 내가 증언하노니 그들이 힘닿는 데까지 하였을 뿐 아니라 참으로 힘에 넘치도록 자원하여 하였고
For to [their] power, I bear record, yea, and beyond [their] power [they were] willing of themselves;
4. 우리가 이 선물을 받아 줄 것과 또 성도들을 섬기는 교제의 일을 맡아 줄 것을 우리에게 매우 간절히 구하였노라.
Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and [take upon us] the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.
5. 그들은 우리가 바라던 것과 달리 이 일을 행하되 먼저 자신을 [주]께 드리고 또 [하나님]의 뜻에 따라 우리에게
주었도다.
And [this they did], not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.
6.그러므로 우리는 디도에게 요청하여 그가 이미 시작하였은즉 같은 은혜를 또한 너희 안에서 끝낼 것을 구하였느니라.
Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.
7. 그러므로 너희가 모든 일 곧 믿음과 말과 지식과 모든 열심과 우리를 사랑하는 일에 풍성한 것 같이 이 은혜에도
풍성할지니라.
Therefore, as ye abound in every [thing, in] faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and [in] all diligence, and [in] your love to us, [see] that ye abound in this grace also.
8. 나는 명령으로 말하지 아니하며 오직 다른 이들이 열심인 것을 기회로 삼아 너희의 사랑이 진실함을 입증하려고
말하노라.
I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.
9. 우리 [주] 예수 그리스도의 은혜를 너희가 알거니와 그분께서 부요하셨으나 너희를 위하여 가난하게 되심은 자신의
가난으로 말미암아 너희를 부요하게 하려 하심이라.
For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
10. 이 일에 내가 충고하노니 이것이 너희에게 유익하니라. 너희가 일 년 전에 행하기를 시작하였을 뿐 아니라 열심히
하였나니
And herein I give [my] advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.
11. 그러므로 이제는 그것을 행하여 완수하라. 이미 하려고 준비되어 있은즉 너희가 가진 것으로 완수할지니라.
Now therefore perform the doing [of it]; that as [there was] a readiness to will, so [there may be] a performance also out of that which ye have.
12. 먼저 자원하는 마음만 있으면 사람이 가진 대로 주께서 받으실 것이요, 그가 갖지 아니한 것은 받지 아니하시리라.
For if there be first a willing mind, [it is] accepted according to that a man hath, [and] not according to that he hath not.
13. 나의 뜻한 바는 다른 사람들은 편안하게 하고 너희는 짐을 지게 하려는 것이 아니요,
For [I mean] not that other men be eased, and ye burdened:
14. 다만 균등의 원리를 따르려는 것이니 곧 이제 이번에는 너희의 넘치는 것으로 그들의 부족함을 공급하고 또한
그들의 넘치는 것으로 너희의 부족함을 공급하여 균등하게 하려는 것이라.
But by an equality, [that] now at this time your abundance [may be a supply] for their want, that their abundance also may be [a supply] for your want: that there may be equality:
15. 이것은 기록된바, 많이 거둔 자도 남지 아니하였고 적게 거둔 자도 모자라지 아니하였더라, 함과 같으니라.
As it is written, He that [had gathered ] much had nothing over; and he that [had gathered ] little had no lack.
16. 그러나 디도의 마음속에 열심을 내어 너희를 돌보려는 같은 생각을 넣어 주신 [하나님]께 감사하노라.
But thanks [be] to God, which put the same earnest care into the heart of Titus for you.
17. 참으로 그가 권면의 말을 받아들였을 뿐 아니라 더욱 열심을 내어 자원함으로 너희에게 나아갔느니라.
For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.
18. 또 우리가 그와 더불어 한 형제를 보내었는데 그는 모든 교회에서 복음으로 인하여 두루 칭찬을 받는 자요,
And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise [is] in the gospel throughout all the churches;
19. 또 그것뿐 아니라 교회들로부터 선정되어 이 은혜를 가지고 우리와 함께 여행하는 자니라. 이 은혜를 우리가
집행하는 것은 같은 [주]께 영광을 돌리며 너희의 준비된 마음을 밝히 드러내려 함이라.
And not [that] only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and [declaration of] your ready mind:
20. 우리는 우리가 집행하는 이 풍성한 선물에 대하여 아무도 우리를 비난하지 못하게 하려고 조심하며
Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:
21. [주]의 눈앞에서뿐만 아니라 사람들의 눈앞에서도 정직한 일들을 예비하노라.
Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.
22. 또 우리가 그들과 함께 우리의 형제를 보내었는데 우리가 많은 일에서 그의 열심을 여러 번 입증하였거니와 내가
너희를 크게 신뢰하므로 그가 이제 더욱 열심이니라.
And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which [I have] in you.
23. 디도에 대하여 누가 묻는다면 그는 나의 동반자요 너희를 위한 동료 협력자며 또 우리 형제들에 대하여 묻는다면
그들은 교회들의 사자들이요 그리스도의 영광이니라.
Whether [any do enquire] of Titus, [he is] my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren [be enquired of, they are] the messengers of the churches, [and] the glory of Christ.
24. 그러므로 너희는 너희의 사랑의 증거와 너희에 대한 우리의 자랑의 증거를 교회들 앞에서 그들에게 보이라.
Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our boasting on your behalf.
