[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 디도서2장
1. 오직 너는 건전한 교리에 합당한 것들을 말하여
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine:
2. 연로한 남자들이 맑은 정신을 가지며 신중하고 절제하며 믿음과 사랑과 인내에서 건전하게 하고
That the aged men be sober, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in charity, in patience.
3.연로한 여자들도 그와 같이 하여 거룩함에 합당하게 처신하도록 하며 거짓으로 비난하지 말고 자기를 많은 술에 내주지
말며 선한 것들을 가르치는 자가 되게 하라.
The aged women likewise, that [they be] in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
4. 이것은 그들이 젊은 여자들을 가르쳐서 맑은 정신을 가지며 자기 남편과 자녀들을 사랑하고
That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children,
5. 신중하며 정숙하고 가정을 보살피며 선하고 자기 남편에게 순종하는 자가 되게 하려 함이니 그리하여야 [하나님]의
말씀이 모독을 받지 아니하리라.
[To be] discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.
6. 젊은 남자들도 이와 같이 권면하여 맑은 정신으로 생각하게 하되
Young men likewise exhort to be sober minded.
7. 모든 일에서 네 자신을 선한 행위의 본으로 보이며 교리에서 부패하지 아니함과 신중함과 성실함을 보이고
In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine [shewing] uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8. 비난 받을 수 없는 건전한 말을 하라. 이것은 반대편에 속한 자가 너희에 대하여 나쁘게 말할 것이 없으므로 부끄러움을
당하게 하려 함이라.
Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9. 종들에게 권면하여 자기 주인들에게 순종하게 하며 모든 일에서 그들을 매우 기쁘게 하고 말대꾸 하지 말게 하며
[Exhort] servants to be obedient unto their own masters, [and] to please [them] well in all [things]; not answering again;
10. 훔치지 말고 전적으로 선하게 충성하는 것을 보이게 하라. 이것은 그들이 모든 일에서 우리의 [구원자] [하나님]의
교리를 빛내게 하려 함이니라.
Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11. 구원을 가져다주시는 [하나님]의 은혜가 모든 사람에게 나타나
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12. 우리를 가르치시되 경건치 아니한 것과 세상에 속한 정욕들을 우리가 거부하고 이 현 세상에서 맑은 정신을 가지고
의롭게 하나님의 뜻대로 살며
Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13. 저 복된 소망과 위대하신 [하나님] 곧 우리의 [구원자] 예수 그리스도의 영광스런 나타나심을 기다리게 하셨느니라.
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14. 그분께서 우리를 위하여 자신을 주심은 모든 불법으로부터 친히 우리를 구속하시고 우리를 정결하게 하사 선한
행위에 열심을 내는 백성 곧 자신을 위한 특별한 백성이 되게 하려 하심이라.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15. 이것들을 말하고 권면하며 모든 권위로 꾸짖고 아무도 너를 업신여기지 못하게 하라.
These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
