하늘의 고운 자락


금빛 은빛 섞어 짠
하늘의 고운 자락 내 가졌다면
밤과 낮과 황혼의
푸르고 어슴프레하고 때로 어두운
그 채단, 가시는 길위에 깔으리다
그러나 내 가난하여 가진 것은 꿈뿐,
나의 꿈 임의 발 아래 깔았습니다
사뿐히 밟고 가시옵소서
내 꿈 위를 걸으시오니

시의 원 제목은 "Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven" 로
Yeats의 이 시에 등장하는 "Aedh" 는  한 사람의 정신적
동인(動因)을 상징하는 허구의 3사람 중의 하나이다.

나중 Yeats의 시집으로 묶어지면서 "Aedh" 대신 좀더 포괄적인
"He"로 바뀌었다.
