여호와의 영광이 나타나고
모든 육체가 그것을 함께 보리라
베들레헴 에브라다야 너는 유다 족속 중에 작을지라도
이스라엘을 다스릴 자가 네게서 내게로 나올 것이라(미5:2)
한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데
그 어깨에는 정사를 메었고
그 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라
영존하시는 아버지라, 평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라
그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며
또 다윗의 위에 앉아서 그 나라를 굳게 세우고
자금 이후 영원토록 공평과 정의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라(사9:6-7)
천사가 이르되 무서워 말라
보라 내가 온 백성에게 미칠 큰 기쁨의 좋은 소식을 너희에게 전하노라
오늘날 다윗의 동네에 너희를 위하여 구주가 나셨으니
곧 그리스도 주시니라(눅2:10~11)
Christmas Day
And the glory of the LORD will be revealed.
and all mankind together will see it (Is. 40:5)
But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah,
Out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel (Mic. 5:2)
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end.
He will reign on David's throne and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever(Is 9:6-7)
But the angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people."
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is Christ the Lord (LK. 2:10-11)
