If you have the mind of writing English poems
Don't postpone it any more, just let's do it now
영시를 써보고 싶으면 더 이상 생각에만 머물지 말고 지금 하자
Because one day or two would get a year or two
So, in spite of not enough words let's just start
하루 이틀은 금방 한두 해가 되므로 부족한 어휘라도 시작하자
It is just the March in spring even if it's still cold
Though in memory the September last is alive
봄이라 삼월인데 아직 춥고, 기억엔 지난 가을이 여전하다
Time seems in a good deal of length and width
Really it is very small in meaning of real using.
세월은 무척 길고 풍족한데 쓸 시간은 별로 없다네
Eating or working would be important rather
than any season in our long life time for health
먹고 일하는 일상은 우리 긴 인생에서 건강에 요긴하다
And at the free time let's write English poems
Because everybody might try to do the best
시간 있으면 영시도 써볼 것은 다들 애쓰며 최선을 다하기에....
You and I are also going to utilize our leisures
To find out how much we can make our writing
당신과 나는 남는 시간을 활용하여 얼마나 글을 쓸 수 있는지 알려 하네
By using our memory like at computer center
We might meet with our central process minds
마치 컴퓨터 기억장치처럼 우리 추억을 살펴보며 우리 본 마음을 만나려 하네
