일체유심조(一切唯心造)
일체가
마음먹기에 달라지니
우리네 삶도
참으로
여러 가지 가지다
체로 마음을
거를 수만 있다면
번민과 고민을
걷을 수가 있건만
유심은
마음보다는
보이는 것에
현혹되고
심신은 더욱더
산만해지는구나
마음의 평정을
찾기 위해
조용히 가부좌 틀고
참선에 드니
일체 만물이
생각대로
움직여지는 걸
어렴풋이
알게 되는구나

"All is mind-created (一切唯心造)."
When everything can change by the will of the mind, our lives, too, truly become many different things.
If we can detach our bodies from our minds, we can walk through trials and tribulations.
However, the mind is often captivated by what is visible,
and the heart and body become even more restless in the quest to find peace of mind.
Sitting quietly in meditation, finding tranquility in Zen practice,
we come to vaguely understand that all things move according to our thoughts.
