동명사: 전치사의 목적어
전치사 다음에는 부정사가 쓰이지 못하며, 반드시 동명사가 와야 한다.
He insisted on seeing her.
He was accused of smuggling.
I have no objection to hearing your story again.

He is good at telling lies.
She is fond of climbing.
There's no point in waiting. She doesn't care for cooking.
동사 + 전치사도 동명사를 목적어로 취한다.
be for/against, care for, give up, keep on, leave off, look forward to, put off, see about, take to
I don't care for standing in queues.

Eventually the dogs left off barking.
I have seen the film; now I am looking forward to reading the book.
