이틀을 묵었던 '호텔 이름을 한 여인숙'. 하지만 불편도 순례의 일부다.
The inn where we stayed two days was titled 'hotel.' The service was not good.
However, I agree that inconvenience is a part of pilgrimage.
등교시간에 맞추어 가느라고 스님들이 마을버스에 매달려 간다.

라오스는 장기적으로 태양광과 더불어 우기때 에너지를 자립적으로 공급할 수 있는 소규모 열병합발전소의 설치를 마을마다 검토할 만하다. 목재팰릿도 만들기 쉬우므로 쓰레기매립장을 만들지 않고 곧바로 소각과 전기생산까지 일체화하는 기술적 접근이 필요할 듯하다.
I think that solar power plant and small-scale combined heat & power plant are recommendable in villages in Laos. Wood pallet is easy to make. Therefore, instead of waste land-fill site, combining incineration and electricity generation has to be reviewed in technical approach.
물소는 고기가 질기지만 얇게 썰어서 쌀국수와 함께 많이들 먹는다.

또 부지런하고 정직한 것 같다.
The people in Laos are good at hand skill.
They also seem to be diligent and honest.
지나가다기 호기심에 오토바이를 세우고 이것저것 물은 청년.
This young man stopped his motorcycle, and asked several questions simply from curiosity.
그러던중 중학생 무리가 지나가길래 부지런히 리플렛을 나눠주었다.
그 안에 세계지도가 들어 있어서인지 제법 인기가 있다.
