하루쉬고 7일 연속 걷는 첫날이다.
Today is the first of 7 consecutive courses after one day's rest.
콘켄시내 중심가를 6시반부터 걷기 시작했다.
월요일 아침답게 활력이 넘친다.
We started walking at downtown of Khon Kaen city at 6:30 in the morning.
Since it was Monday morning, our footsteps were energetic.
학생들을 많이 만났다. 새 리플렛도 많이 주었다.
We met many students. We handed out many leaflets.
유명한 9층불탑의 Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon에 도착했다.
We arrived at famous 9-story pagoda of Phra Mahathat Kaen Nakhon.
이 아름다운 사찰은 1800년대의 왕실과 관련이 있다.
This beautiful temple has something related with the Royal family in 1800s.

마침 운좋게 주지스님을 바로 만날 수 있었다.
도착하자마자 부처님께 삼배를 올린 터이지만
스님이 부처님앞으로 안내를 하시길래 다시 삼배를 올렸다.
주지스님 존함은 ANURAK. 손수 써주셨다.
Fortunately, we could meet the head of the temple without appointment.
We gave three respectful bowes as soon as we arrived at the temple.
But, the monk guided us to the front of the Buddha statue. We gave three bowes again.
The name of the head monk was Anurak. He wrote his name on the paper by himself.
세계생명헌장 서울안을 포함하여 준비해온 자료를 드렸다.
I gave him the World Life Charter-Seoul Version and other related materials.
열반하신 이 절의 고승 밀랍 앞에서 기념사진을 찍었다.
We took a picture in front of the beeswaxed statue of a monk of high virtue.
스님이 9층으로 안내하신다.
계단을 올라가니 전망이 그만이다.
The monk guided us to the 9th floor, where the scenery was superb.
이곳에 부처님 진신사리(미확인)를 모신듯 하다. 예를 올렸다.
This place seems to keep the relics of Buddha. (But I could not confirm it.) I gave Buddhist tribute.
주지스님이 기념으로 작은 종을 치신다.
The head monk ringed a small bell as commemoration.
헤어진 후 떠나면서 기념사진을 찍으려는데 사진찍는 분이 상황을 이해하고는 함께 찍었다.
When we left the temple, we took a picture.
The ladies joined us in taking a picture after they learned about our pilgrimage.

We were welcomed even where we took rest.
윗분들중 하라상를 좋아하는 팬이 생겼다.
Mr. Hara attracts many women followers.
