태국의 국토 중앙부를 가로지르는 7일연속순례중 닷새째이다.
Today is the 5th day of 7 consecutive courses which cross the central part of Thailand.
여전히 뜨거운 날일 것 같다. 6시10분부터 걷기 시작.
Today would be a very hot day. I started walking 6:10 in the morning.
어느 절집앞의 조형공간
A space of formative arts in front of a temple.
마을도 거의 없고 가게도 잘 보이지 않는 시골길 24km다.
I could not see any house or shop along the village road. We have to walk 24 km.
8km쯤 걸으니 식당이 보인다.
I found a restaurant after walking 8 km.
아침식당의 주인이 함께 찍고 싶다고 한다.
The owner of the restaurant wanted to take a picture with us.
2번국도변에 있는 Bangkok Solar Power 회사
Bangkok Solar Power Company.
이 회사의 부지 안에 이런 태양광밭이 수만평 널려 있다.
위도도 낮아서 에너지전환효율도 좋다.
실제로 태국은 평지의 땅덩어리가 크고 밀도도 낮아서 이런 규모의 태양광 개발이 활발하다.
천연가스발전이 70%이상인 이 나라는 아직 태양광발전의 비중은 낮아서 우리나라와 비슷하지만 성장세가 가파르다고 한다.
특히 발전차액지원제도를 그대로 운영하면서 가격구조가 시장가격에 탄력적으로 대응하도록 장치를 만들어 두어서 투자자들에게 매력적이라고 한다. 연구대상이 될 만하다.
Inside this solar company, solar energy fields are spread over huge area.
Because the latitude is low, the energy efficiency is very high.
In fact, the development of solar enery is very prostective since Thailand has many locations good for solar energy.
Since Thialand use more than 70% of electiricity made by natural gas power plants, the use of solar energy is low.
Recently, Thailand tried Feed-In Tariff(FIT) which gives monetary supprot to the producer of solar energy.
The FIT attracted many investors into the solar energy sector.
Thai government keeps both FIT and price-mechanism in which the price of electricity depends on demand & supply.
I think it is worth more research.

10시가 넘을 즈음에 14km를 왔다.
마침 구름이 끼어 있어서 계속 할까 생각했지만 어제 일을 교훈삼아 냉정하게 그만두었다.
아니나 다를까 쉬고 있는 낮시간 내내 땡볕이었다.
I have walked 14 km around 10:00. The sky was overcast. I wanted to continue walking.
But yesterday's experience came upon my mind and forced me to stop and rest.
That was a good decision. While I take a long rest, the weather was very hot without clouds.
쉬기 위해 숙소로 돌아오는 교통편이 만만찮았다. 버스가 서지 않는 구간이다.
한참을 기다리다 운좋게 서행하는 차를 만나 짐칸에 얻어탔다.
하라상은 순발력 좋게 이 사진을 찍었다.
On the way coming back to the shelter for rest, the transportation was not good.
There was no bus station. We were waiting for a relatively long time.
Fortunately, we saw a truck driving slowly. We stopped the truck and succeeded in riding at the back of the truck.
Mr. Hara was ready to take a picture of this hitchhiking.
오후일정 시작이다.
I started afternoon course at this point.
하라상이 목적지 주차후 혼자 걸어오는 동안에 아이들과 찍은 사진
Mr. Hara drove the car to the destination and parked the car.
While he walks back to join me, he took this picture with the kids.
합류하는 장면. 필자가 걸어가면서 지나가는 차들에게 손을 흔들고 있다.
Finally Mr. Hara met me and joined me. I waved to the drivers of cars passing by while I walk.
참새떼가 전선줄에 가득하다.
Many sparrows are sitting on the power line.
저녁시간에 목적지인 어느 절에 도착했다.
하라상이 미리 가져다놓은 우리차(렌트)가 기다리고 있다.
In the evening, we arrived at a temple, our destination.
Our rent-car which Mr. Hara left at the destination in advance is waiting for us.
하라상이 저녁식당에서 만난 사람에게 리플렛을 전해주었더니 기념사진을 찍고 싶다고 한다.
태국의 경찰(아마도 형사?)이라고 한다. 베트남과 라오스는 공안(경찰)이 사진에 찍히는 걸 싫어했지만 여기는 다르다.
Mr. Hara handed out a leaflet to the man whom he met at the restaurant. We took a picture together.
The man was Thai policeman, probably a detective.
The policeman in Vietnam and Laos was reluctant to take a picture.
But Thai policeman was O.K. to take a picture.
