방콕의 마지막 날이다.
The last day in Bangkok.
어제 김광철 이기영 나경 세 분이 오셨다.
출발에 앞서 이기영 호서대교수가 한국에서 친지들로부터 모아온 후원금을 필자에게 전달하고 있다.
Yesterday, three people (Kwangchul Kim, Kiyoung Lee, Kyung Na) came from Korea.
Before start, Professor Kiyoung Lee of Hoseo University is giving me donation he collected from the supporters in Korea.
전날 밤늦게 공항에서 만난 이기영교수 와 그 부인 나경 님이다.
I met professor Lee and his wife Kyong Na at airport last night.
추석을 객지에서 보낸 필자를 생각하여 송편을 가져 오셨다.
I passed over Chusok without eating songpyon.
Professor Lee brought some songpyon, a kind of rice cake, for me.
출발대에서 선 5인의 일행. 시인이자 초록교육연대 전대표인 김광철선생(맨우측)도 오셨다.
Fime pilgrims are standing on start line.
Kwang-chul Kim who is a poet and ex-representative of Green Education Network is standing at right-most place.
모처럼 순례단이 풍성해졌다. 무척 더운 가운데 오후 2시부터 부지런히 걸었다.
After a long time, the pilgims are rich in number. We started walking at 2:00 p.m. in the midst of hot weather.

The pedestrian road with lined trees is surrounding the Royal Palace.

이 분들끼리는 모르는 사이이지만 말미에서 걸어가는 필자에게 이 분들중 한 분이 말을 걸면서
필자가 설명하는 과정에서 함께 어울렸다.
We met the citizens while we were walking.
These people do not know each other.
But after listening to my explanation of pilgrimage, they took a picture together.
왕궁의 여러 문 가운데 하나. 주로 궁내경찰들의 출입문인듯 하다.
We took a picture In front of one of many gatet to Royal Palace. This gate seems to be used by security police.
시내 곳곳의 사찰에서 국왕의 26일 장례식 준비가 진행되고 있다.
The funeral ceremony of King is being prepared at temples everywhere in Bangkok city.
그 준비탓인지 교통이 막히는 가운데 터키에서 온 여자분이 필자일행을 보고는 차에서 내려 다가왔다.
The funeral preparation caused traffic jam at several places.
A woman from Turkey saw us and got out of her car and approached us.
터키에도 오느냐고 묻고는 반가워 한다. 여걸 같은 모습이다.
She asked me, "Are you coming to Turkey?" She looked like a heroine. She greeted us.

During rest time, Mr. Hara became friend with a young girl whom he met at the store.
필자는 골목길을 걸어가는 아이들이 귀여워서 말을 걸었다.
I met cute boys in the alley. I talked with them.
오늘의 원래 목적지인 왓포는 장례식 준비관계로 문을 닫아서
인근에 있는 유명사찰인 Wat Sa Ket을 최종 목적지로 삼았다.
Today's final destination was Wa Po. But it was closed because of funueral preparation.
We changed our destination to Wt Sa ket..
오늘 약14km를 걸어서 여기에 도착했다.
언덕정상에 있는 아름답고 웅장한 사찰이다. 하지만 늦게 도착하여 올라 갈 수는 없었다.
Today we walked 14km and arrived at this temple.
The temple was standing on top of a hill. It was a grand and beautiful temple.
However, we could not enter the temple because we arrived too late.

Mr. Hara took pictures with the people inside the restaurant near the starting point.

Five pilgrims took a picture at the today's destination.
오늘 하노이부터 비엔티안을 거쳐 방콕까지 온 순례 마지막 날이다.
베트남-라오스-태국의 인도차이나 지역을 실제로 걸은 거리를 대략 계산해보니 1400km가 약간 넘는다.
Today is the last day of pilgimage course from Hanoi via Bientian to Bangkok
I walked about 1400km through three Indochina countries, Vietnam, Laos, Thailnad.
그동안 무사히 걷도록 성원해주신 분들께 감사드린다.
I would like to express my deep thanks to all the supporters who helped me to go pilrimage.
서울에서 지금까지 걸은
7개국 거리는 약 2800km.
이제 로마까지 1/4 걸었다.
The total length of pilgrimage road I walked is about 2800 km through 7 counries, 1/4 of total course which ends at Rome.
이제 모레 기자회견이 남았다.
We will hold a press conference on the day after tomorrow.
