유재상님은 작년 가을, 촛불에 깊은 감동을 받아서 11월하순 어느 금요일 비행기로 서울 광화문에 와서 밤을 새우고 토요일비행기로 돌아오기도 했다고 한다.

on Friday in late November by airplane.

마당을 두고 ㄷ자형태로 음식점 등이 입주해서 장사를 하고 있다.
I visited Korea Town building in Bangkok.
Several stores are located in the form of ㄷ character, surrounding the yard in the center.
원래 27일에 말레이시아 페낭으로 기차를 타고 갈 예정이었는데 기차표예매 하려고 보니 국왕장례식때문에 27일 28일 표가 매진되어 26일에 하루 일찍 떠나게 되었다.
I intended to go to Penang by train on 27th day. At the train station, however, I found the tickets sold out because of the Royal King's funeral. I was obliged to buy ticket leaving on 26th day.
중앙역에 해당하는 후아람퐁 역에서도 장례식이 거행되고 있다.
The King's funeral was held at Huarampong station which was the central station of Bangkok.
침대칸 모습 ㅡ 약 16시간을 달린 것 같다.

After crossing the Thailand border, I entered into Malaisia. I transferred to street train.

옆자리의 소녀와 친해졌다. 17살의 고교생이다. 필자도 잠시 17살로 돌아갔다.
I became friend with the girl sitting next to me. She was a highschool student who was 17 years old.
I returned to the days of 17-year-old boy, just for a moment.
페낭은 섬이다. 왕복하는 페리선을 타고 간다.
Penang is an island. I rode a ferryboat to Penang.
하라상과 친해진 청년.
Mr. Hara became friend with this young man.
페낭에 도착했다. 환전하러 가서 찍은 테이블.
여기돈 1링깃이 우리돈으로 대략 270원이다.
We arrived at Penang. We exchanged money. One lingit is equivalent to 270 won in Korean currency.
