캘커타 외곽으로 빠져 걷기 시작한다.
I started walking from the outskirt of Calcutta.
짐을 택시에 싣고 하라상은 다음 숙박지의 호텔로 간다.
Mr. Hara and baggages went to the hotel of next lodging by taxi.
가는 도중의 도로 차선상의 안전판 모습
The safety sign on the way.
볏단과 함께 앉아 있는 노인.
넉넉한 분위기가 나온다.
An old man is sitting on the rice-sheaf. The atmohphere I felt was ample.
캘커타 주변의 호기심 많은 이들이 계속 말을 걸어온다.
Some curious men are asking questions about pilgrimage.
몇마디 말을 나누고 있는 동안에 몰려온 사람들과 함께
As soon as I started conversation, many people came close to me.
그들은 커피와 함께 작은 도자기도 필자에게 주었는데 알고 봤더니 거의 1회용으로 사용하고 있다.
도자기를 1회용으로 사용하다니, 이건 엄청난 비경제다.
They gave me coffee in a porcelain. Later I found out that the porcelain was used only once.
It must be a significant waste of resources to use throwaway porcelain.
힌두교의 여신인듯 한데 이름은 모르겠다.
These statues seem to be Hindu goddess. But I don't know the names.
푸른옷은 경찰제복인듯 하다.
이들이 필자의 걸어온 설명을 듣고 감탄하더니,
The man with blue uniform seems to be a policeman.
They listened to my explanation of pilgrimage and they exclaimed.
마침 순시중인 그들의 상관에게 필자를 소개시켜 주었다.
별2개의 계급장을 단 고위 경찰이다.
그와 함께 이야기 나누고 악수를 한후 사진도 함께 찍었다.
He introduced me to his senior officer who was on patrol at that momnet.
The superior had two stars on his shoulders.
I shook hands with him and talked about pilgrimage. I took a picture with him.
필자가 선글라스 벗으면 어떻냐고 하니까 기꺼이 벗는다.
그로부터 한참 걷자니 오토바이를 탄 정보경찰 쯤 되어보이는 이가 다가오더니 자신의 전화번호와 이름을 주면서 혹시 인도순례 문제가 생기면 자기에게 전화를 하라고 한다.
역시 이 분이 조치를 하신 것 같다.
I told him, "How about taking off your sunglasses?" He said "O.K."
After I walked several kilometers, a man riding a motorcycle came to me and gave his name and phone number.
He said, "When you get into trouble during Indian pilgrimage, please let me know. I will take care of it."
The superior must have ordered the man to come to me.

인도는 동남아시아와 마찬가지로 먹거리가 풍부하다.
값은 더욱 싸면서~
A juice with mixed orange and pomegranate.
India has plenty of eatings just like other Sourtheast Asian countries.
But the pirce is cheaper in India than other countries.
인도인은 호기심을 굳이 숨기려 하지 않는다. 적극적으로 다가오는 이들과 함께 많은 사진을 찍는다.
Indians do not cover curiosity. They come to me very postively. I took many pictures with them.
동네 축구장인듯 한데 자연잔디구장이다.
A playgound with natural grass was found in a village.
여학생들도 호기심을 숨기지 않는다.
이 사진에서 옆눈길로 보고 있는 깜찍한 학생은 자신의 폰으로 필자와 셀카를 찍었다.
Girl students do not cover curiosity either.
The girl who shows sliced eyes took self picture with me by her own handphone.
돌아오는 기차 안에서
On the train coming back to lodging.
광궤철도의 기차라서 그런지 차내가 무척 넓다.
Wide-width train provides an enough space.
다이내믹한 하루를 보냈다.
Today was a dynamic day.
