전날 오후 늦게 어디선가 석류 생과일주스를 마셨다.
그 만드는 과정에서 위생상태가 조금 미심쩍었던 바가 있었는데 아니나 다를까 밤이 지나면서 배가 아프기 시작했다.
혹시 몰라서 한국의 내과의사 친구에게 카톡전화로 증상을 이야기했다.
맹장염은 아니고, 요즘 유행하는 소화기계통의 바이러스인 것 같다고 하면서 부드러운 음식을 먹으면 차차 좋아질 것이라고 한다.
다행이다.
Yesterday afternoon, I ate a cup of pomegranate juice somewhere.
At that time, I felt ill at ease about the process of making juice.
It was no wonder that I felt stomachache late at night.
I was so worried that I called my friend in Korea who was a physician by kakao talk.
He said it seems not to be an appendicitis but a virus infection of digestive system.
He recommended to eat soft food. I felt at ease after talking with him.
쿠시나가르에서 미리 하루 쉬면서 숙소 인근에 있는 조계종 직할의 한국사찰인 대한사를 방문했다.
I took one day's rest at Kushinagar.
While I took rest I visited Daehansa, Korean temple under direct control of Chogyejong.
주지스님인 성관스님께서 환영해주신다.
The head monk, Sung Kwan, welcomed us.
스님은 29년동안 이 지역에 계시면서 절을 만들어오셨는데,
목재가 귀한 인도에서 초창기에 티크나무를 심어둔 것을 이제 절집지을 재목으로 활용할 정도로 초장기 프로그램을 진행중이시다.
스님께서 직접 담그신 김치를 위시한 한국밥상도 차려주셨다. 오랫만에 포식했다.
헤어지면서 스님이 싸주신 김치 덕분에 하루이틀 지나면서 속이 풀린 것 같다.
스님께 감사드린다.
The monk has stayed here for 29 years and constructed the temple.
He planted teak trees in beginning stage of temple construction.
Woods are very rare material in India. Now he can use the teak tree he planted for the construction of temple.
He served us Korean food with kimchi which he made by himself.
I enjoyed Korean food aftre a long while.
When we depart, he gave me additional kimchi.
Due to kimchi my stomachache was relieved after a few days.
I appreciate Sung Kwan monk.
체력을 회복한 후 하라상과 쿠시나가르에 이르는 마지막 순례길구간을 걸었다.
After recovering strength, I walked with Mr. Hara the last section leading to Kushinagar.
출발지로 향하는 오토릭샤에서 만난 어린 소녀.
우리가 신기한지 20분동안 꼬박 우리를 살핀다.
In the autorickshaw going to the starting point, I met a young girl.
She was very curious about us. She watched us for 20 minutes continuously.
요즘 태양광패널이 잘 팔리고 있는 것 같다. 이 가게는 그 전문점이다.
These days, solar panels are selling well. This professional shop sells solar panels.
이 분은 우리순례에 관심을 갖고 자전거로 이동하면서 여러가지 질문을 하다가 나중에는 우리에게 짜이를 두잔씩 대접하였다.
흔하지 않은 관심이다.
This man was curious about our pilgrimage.
He followed us by bicycle and asked many questions.
At last, he bought us two cups of chai. He had an extraordinary curiosity.
쿠시나가르에 이르기 직전의 큰도로변에 방치되어 있는 쓰레기들.
인도는 어느 동네나 이 문제를 안고 있다.
Wastes are piled up at the roadside not far away from Kushinagar.
Waste problem is troublesome at every village in India.
부처님이 열반하신 쿠시나가르 유적지 입구에 도착했다.
내일 방문하기로 했다.
We arrived at the entrance of relics in Kushinagar where Buddha entered Nirvana.
I decided to visit tomorrow.

I almost arrived at lodging.
