Kathmadu and Nepal
키트만두 시내를 걸어간다.
I walked in Katmandu.
시내에서 6 km 거리의 Patan Durbar Square 유적지로 가는 길이다.
We went to Patan Durban Square, an old relic which was 6km away from downtown.
노파가 닭에게 먹이를 쪼아먹도록 하면서 편안히 앉아 있다.
그럴싸한 취미다.
An old woman is feeding the hen while sitting at leisure.
I think it's a good hobby for her.

We arrived at Patan Durbar Square.
2015년 카트만두는 큰 지진이 있었다.
진도 7.8 에 8천여명이 사망했다.
그때 유네스코세계문화유산인 이곳 유적들도 파괴되어 지금 보수가 진행중이다.
이 글을 쓰는 동안 대만동부에서 큰 지진이 나고 있다. 사상자도 많다.
There was a disaterous earthquake at Katmandu in 2015.
The magnutude of earthquake was 7.8 and 8,000 people died.
At that time, many relics which were deisgnated as UNESCO world cultural heritage were destroyed.
The repair work of relics is still going on.
While I write this diary, it was reported that there was a big earthquake at Eastern part of Taiwan.
Many causalties were reported.
후쿠시마 핵재난도 지진때문이다.
아시다시피 핵발전소가 핵무기보다 위험한 것도 이 때문이다.
하나뿐인 이 지구에 450개나 있다.
Fukushima neclear accident was also triggered by earthquake.
Since earthquake may cause nuclear power plant accident which is hard to control,
I would say that nuclear power plant is more vulnerable to disater than nuclear weapons.
There are 450 nuclear power plants on the Earth which we call "Only One Earth."
주로 힌두교 계통의 유적들이다.
The relics are mostly Hindu origin.
Thamel 거리는 중심가로서 많은 관광객이 찾는다.
Thamel street is the central part of Katmandu, where you can find many tourists.
카트만두 시내에 있는 유적도 마찬가지로 보수중이다.
The relics inside Katmandu city are also under repair after the earthquake.
이튿날 시외버스터미널인 Balajur Bus Park 에서 Chitwan으로 가는 일반대중버스를 탔다.
On next day, we rode a bus which starts from Balajur Bus Park and goes to Chiwan.
도로사정이 좋지 않아서 장장 8시간을 버스와 함께 보냈다.
The rode condition was not good. It took 8 hours for us to reach our destination.
공사중인 도로의 통행허가를 기다리는 동안 휴게소에서 버스는 1 시간 넘게 기다렸다.
At rest area the bus wailted for the road under construction to be open to passage,
for more than one hour.

이윽고 목적지인 Bharatpur에 도착했다.
Finally we arrived at today's destination, Bharatpur.
