나흘간 머문 대성석가사를 떠나는 아침이다.
In the morning, I left Daesungseoggasa where I stayed for 4 days.
원인스님과 셀카. 필자와 이름도 비슷하다~
I took a selfie with Wonin monk. His name 'won' is the character that I have in my name.
카필라성으로 택시로 이동한후 걷기 시작하여 국경까지 약 28km.
하라상은 짐을 싣고 국경까지 곧장 이동했다. 오랫만의 혼자 길이다.
After moving to Kapila castle by taxi, I started to walk.
Today's course is 28km toward the border.
Mr. Hara carried baggages to the border.
I walked by myself after a long time.
이 길은 비포장길이어서 구글에는 자동차가 다니지 못한다고 나와 있다.
하지만 버스와 지프차는 잘 다닌다.
This road is unpaved. Google map indicated that cars can't pass this road.
But in reality, bus and jeep can go this road without difficulty.
시골마을의 사람들은 표정이 다르다.
The facial expressions of villgers are different respectively.
이렇게 넓은 길도 등장한다.
Sometimes, the road is very wide.
홀로 놀고 있는 아이를 보고 있자니
화사하게 봄꽃이 핀 나무 아래 아이들이 모여들어 필자를 바라본다.
When I looked at a child playing alone under a tree with spring flowers,
other children flocked and looked at me with curiosity.
멋있는 제스추어의 소녀
A young girl gestured cutely.
이 소녀를 찍자니 주변에 아이들이 모여들었다.
When I took a picture of this girl, other children flocked.
벽돌공장 굴뚝에 시커먼 연기가 나온다.
A brick factory made black smoke.
촌로들이 필자에게 어디로 가느냐의 표정을 지으면
필자는 뒤쪽을 가리키며Lumbini라고 외치고, 앞쪽을 가리키며 Shravasti 라고 외치며 합장하는 자세를 취한다. 그러면 그들은 고개를 끄덕이며 함께 합장의 제스추어를 한다.
Old men in the village sometimes saw me and gestured "Where are you going?" without asking.
Then I point behind direction and shout "Limbini."
Now I point front direction and shout "Shravasti."
And I join my hands and bow. Then they nod and join their hands.
Sometimes gestures work better than conversation.
많은 소들이 몰려오고 있다.
Many cows are moving.
이날 소시장이 열린 것 같다.
Probably cow market is open today.
오랫동안 여러 종류의 소들이 지나간다.
I could see different kinds of cows pass for a long while.
과연 많은 소들이 모여있는 소시장이 나왔다.
Finally, I found the place of cow market.
국경에 도착할 무렵이다.
Now the border is not far.
이 장면을 찍을 때쯤 26 km 쯤 지났다. 나머지 2km는 내일 걷기로 하였다.
At this point, I walked 26 km. I decided to walk remaining 2 km tomorrow.
