쉬라바스티에서 상키사로 가는 도중의 Kanpur 역

한밤중의 칸푸르 역사
Kanpur station at midnight.
하루종일 기차와 버스를 타고 8대성지의 마지막 목적지인 Sankisa에 도착했다.
부탄국에서 설립한 사찰내의 게스트룸에 숙소를 잡았다.
I arrived at Sankisa, the last place of 8 sacred places of Buddhists, by train and bus.
I found lodging at guest-house in Buddhist temple operated by Bhutan.
사진은 아마도 부탄의 고승이신듯 하다.
This picture seems to be a respected monk of Buhtan.
상키사 유적으로 갔다.
I went to Sankisa relics.
작은 언덕인 상키사는 사방이 탁트였다.
Sankisa was a small hill which commanded a open and wide view.
쉬라바스티의 Orahjar언덕과 판박이다.
아마도 부처님이 도리천으로부터 하방하시는 모습이 사방의 사람들로부터 관찰이 될만한 곳이다.
This hill was just the same as Orahjar hill at Shravasti.
Probably, people at Buddha's time could see Buddha come down from Doricheon very vividly.
이 언덕위에 미얀마에서 온 불자들이 불공을 드리고 있었다.
At this hill, the Buddhists from Myanmar were perfoming Buddhist ritual.
언덕에서 내려다 보이는 곳에 걸승이 자리잡고 있다.
At a good place to look down, a mendicant was sitting.
경내에 있는 해태상
A unicorn-lion was inside pavillion.
경내의 불상은 유지관리상태가 엉성하다.
Sankisa는 불교8대성지의 하나이긴 하지만 찾는 사람들도 적어서 한적한 느낌이다.
The statue of Buddha was in bad shape due to neglect of maintenance.
Sankisa is one of 8 sacred places of Buddhists.
Few people come to this relics, and the maintenance was not good.

숙소로 돌아오는 길옆의 감자밭에서 감자들을 캐고 있다.
On my way back to lodging, I could see the potato harvest.
말을 타고 거리를 지나는 사람들. 아마도 상위계층 사람들일 터이다.
These people rode on horse. They seem to be high-class people.
