첫출발을 닷새 연속으로 걸으면서 휴식일을 놓쳤기 때문에
31일 휴식예정을 이틀 앞당겨서 쉬었다.
그리고는 30일에 다시 출발.
Since I walked five consecutive days from the start, I missed a rest day.
I decided to take rest at 29 December, two days in advance of schedule.
I started to walk again at 30 December.
출발지 Reusa 에서 오토바이를 탄 아이와 함께.
I took a picture with children riding a motorcycle at Reusa where I started again.
이 동네는 겨울 아침인데도 인파가 많다.
It was an early morning in winter, but there were lots of people in the street.
지구촌의 친구들이다.
They are all friends of the earth.

노천시장에서 만난 점토류의 도기
I found an old man selling clay porcelain.
여기는 거름을 모아 숙성시키는 곳이다.
대평원의 농촌에는 없어서는 안될 곳.
They collect and fertilize manures at this place.
It is an essential place for farmers living in Indian plains.
이슬람계통의 사원으로 들어가는 입구.
인도사회는 힌두교와 이슬람 그리고 카스트계급사회가 복잡하게 얽혀 있다.
작은 동네에서도 만만찮은 긴장김이 흐르고 있다.
This is an entrance to Islamic temple.
Indian society are tangled with Hinduism, Islam, and class caste.
Even in a small village, I sense the tension among opposing groups.
지나가다 원숭이 무리가 보이길래 과자를 던져 주었더니 어느 틈에 두목이 등장해서 좋은 자리를 독차지 한다.
When I saw a group of monkeys, I threw cookie.
In a moment, the leader of the group takes the best place for receiving cookie.
관개수로에 수문을 열어서 물을 흘려보내고 있다.
원래 인도북부의 대평원은 건조한 편인데도 히말라야산맥으로부터 물줄기가 흘러내리므로 농사짓기가 어렵지 않다. 하지만 물을 잘 다루어야 한다.
Water is flowing at irrigation waterway.
The northern area of Indian plains is somewhat dry region.
The water flows from Himalaya mountains which help farming in this region.
They have to manage water very carefully.
오후늦게 목적지 부근의 마을에서 만난 아이들과 주민.
오늘은 24km 걸었다.
I took a picture with residents and children at a village near today's destination.
