타쉬켄트와 함께 고려인이 많이 살았던 사마르칸트에 가보기로 했다. 유적지로 유명한 큰 도시다.
Many Koreans were living at Tashkent and Samarqand in Uzbekistan.
Samarqand is a famous city for historical relics.
1. 사마르칸트는 313km 거리다.

5. 이 곳을 여행중인 중국인 여성을 만났다. 돈황에서 살면서 미국인 남편과의 사이에 아이도 있는데 이번에 여가가 생겨 혼자 여행중이라고 한다. 점심식사때까지 동행할 정도로 친해졌다.

She married an American and had two kids. She had a vacation for travel.
We became friend with her and had lunch together.

17. 우연히 친해진 남아프리카공화국에서 온 부부도 동석했다. 자신의 나라의 경치를 스마트폰으로 자랑하였는데 과연 볼 만 했다.

21. 남아공화국 부부와 무심거사와 필자와 중국인 여성도 모두 합류했다. 뜻밖의 즐거운 시간이었다.

It was an happy hour unexpected.
22. 일행과 헤어져 무심거사와 둘이서 약 3킬로 거리에 있는 유적지로 향한다. 식당옆은 결혼식장을 겸하고 있어선지 정장을 한 여성들이 눈에 띈다. 이 여성들은 우리가 코리언임을 알고는 포즈를 취해 주었다.
22. We departed from luncheon group, and walked to the historical relics 3 km away.
There was an wedding place next to the restaurant. I could see women with formal dress.
These women found out that we are from Korea. They were happy to pose for photo.

사마르칸트 역에서 7시19분 기차를 타고 타쉬켄트의 숙소로 돌아오니 밤11시가 넘었다. 흥미진진한 투어였다.
We got on the train 7:19 in the evening. We arrived at our shelter in Tashkent over 11 o'clock at night.
It was an interesting day which was full of events.
