1. 이 지역의 유명한 관광명물 비행선들이 동트는 아침을 장식하고 있다. 장관이다.
대기상의 기류때문에 새벽에만 띄울 수 있다고 한다.
1. The tourist attraction was hot air balloons which dotted morning sky. It was a spectacular scenery.
Because of air current, the balloons fly only in early morning.

3. 확대해보았더니 불을 때우는 장면도 보인다. 사람들도 보인다.

아침뉴스를 보니 일본정부의 화이트리스트 만행이 들린다.
어떻게 보면 이건 아베와 그 일당이 '경제'를 볼모로 일본민중에 대해 쿠데타를 일으킨 것 같다.
막대한 정권유지비용때문에 연금도 삭감해야 하고 소비세인상도 10%로 올려야 하는 등 궁지에 몰리자, 비전도 없이 민중을 쥐어 짜는 식으로 가고 있는듯 하다. 한국을 핑계로 긴장국면을 만들어서 말이다.
아베들을 포함해서 과거부터 일본의 기득권층은 그런 짓밖에 할 줄 아는 게 없다.
I read morning news, and found out the white-list brutality of Abe government.
Abe and his colleagues tried a provocation which is like a coup against Japanese people by taking hostage of economy.
Recently, his government was in trouble because of pension reduction, and 10% increase of consumer tax. These policies were inevitable due to the huge cost of maintaining vested interests. He is squeezing Japanese people without any future vision by utilizing Korea-Japan relation. He is inducing stress in Korea-Japan relation on purpose. Japanese establishments have done so for a long time.
5. 오늘은 유명한 괴레메박물관과 정교회가 있는 곳까지 몇키로 걸어가면서 돌아보기로 했다.

12. 뾰족바위는 화산재가 차곡차곡 쌓여서 굳어진 뜻의 응회암이란 이름을 갖고 있다.
12. Pinnacle rock is made by sedimentation of volcanic ashes. It's geologic name is tuff.
13. 그런데 어째서 이렇게 뾰죽할까 궁금해서 검색해보았지만 확실한 답을 찾지 못했다.
가설로 생각해본 것은 화산이 분출할 때 용암이 떨어진 자리는 비교적 단단한 바위로 굳으면서 그 아래도 눌려서 풍화가 안되고 남아서 뾰족해보이는 것 아닌가 하는 정도다.

My guess is that magma from volcano may have been hardened and pressed the center, and survived weathering.

18. 혼자 여행중인 미국청년인데, 조지아 트빌리시에서 우리 순례단 얘기를 친구로부터 들은 적이 있어서 한눈에 알아 보았다는 것이다.
18. He was an American who was travelling alone. He heard about New Silk Road from his friend who met us in Georgia.
He recognized us instantly.
19. 우리의 주제에 관심이 있으니 단번에 알아 보았을 터. 즉석에서 순례단에 포함시켰다.
19. He was interested in our pilgrimage and recognized us immediately. He joined in our pilgrimage.

22. 시카고의 대학에서 지리학을 전공한 후 NGO활동을 하고 있다는 그는 기특하게도 순례단일행에게 차를 대접한다.

It was praiseworthy for him to buy us chai.

37. 오늘의 주인공은 이 인물이다. 박물관내에 있는 정교회를 찾아가는 도중에 만난 여행가이드이다. 그런데 이 분이 우리 팜플렛을 보더니 정교회 바르쏠로뮤 총대주교님과 친분이 있다고 얘기하는 것이었다. 그분과 함께 찍은 사진을 보여준다.
이곳의 정교회는 일명 Dark Church이라는 이름을 갖고 있는데 벽화나 내부구조물의 가치 때문에 입장료를 별도로 받고 있다. 그런데 이 가이드가 자신의 돈으로 입장권을 끊어서 우리에게 주는 것이 아닌가!
뜻있는 만남이다.
37. The hero of today is this gentleman.
He is a tour guide whom I met on the way to orthodox church inside open museum.
He took a glance at New Silk Road pamphlet. He said he has an acquaintance of Patriarch Bartholomew.
He showed me a photo which he took with Patriarch.
This orthodox church is called Dark Church, and they collect extra fee to go inside the church.
Surprisingly the guide payed the fee for us. It was a very meaningful encounter.

49. 한밤이 가까워오는 시내의 두 큰 바위.
민중의 염원을 담은 커다란 촛불처럼 보인다. 이번에는 한국민중의 촛불을 이어 받아 일본민중의 촛불이 타오르길 기대한다.

The rocks looked like two big candles which symbolize the aspiration of people.
I hope Japanese candle-light would follow Korean candle-light revolution.
