1. 표지사진은, 버스에서 걸어가는 나그네를 본 후 내려서 한참 기다렸던 아이들.
The cover photo is a selfie with the children who saw me walking and waited for me for a long time after getting off the bus.
2. 오늘은 출발지와 도착지 모두 숙소에서 떨어져 있어서 걷는 시간을 단축한다.
Today, both the departure and destination are away from the hostel. So I adjust to shorten the walking time.
3. 버스가 자주 없으므로 택시에 짐을 싣고 숙소를 옮기면서 필자는 중간에 내려서 오늘의 구간을 걸은 후, 다시 버스를 타고 짐이 도착해 있을 크리바팔랑카의 숙소로 찾아간다.
다행히 택시는 저렴하다. 57km에 1500데나르.
Since there are no buses often, I have to carry my baggage by taxi and go to the new accommodation. I get down in the middle and walk through the section of the day, then take the bus again to the accommodation of Kriva Palanka where the laggage will wait for me.
Fortunately, taxi is cheap: 1,500 denards for 57km.
4. 출발지인 Rugintse 마을에서
At the departure point, Rugintse village.

The lands are moist with last night's rain .

It is a scenic view with a cloudy mass.

10. 자동차 사고가 나 있는 현장을 지난다. 큰 사고는 아니다.

It feels like the border is getting closer.

The firewood was stacked up neatly.
17. 바로 그 옆에 새로이 짓고 있는 건물.
이를 보고 있자니, 우리가 사용해온 온돌난방 방식이 생각났다.
유럽의 벽난로나 연통방식으로는 열손실이 크다.

18. 온돌은 최소한의 장작으로도 밤새 뜨끈하게 잘 수 있는 전통적인 난방방식이다. 요즘 미국이나 유럽에서도 많이 채용하고 있다고 한다.

19. 어느 마을에 도착하니 학생들이 등하교중이다. 나그네에게 호기심을 갖고 오길래 팜플렛을 나눠주었더니 순식간에 동이 났다. 통학버스안에서 대기하던 학생들까지 몰려온 것이다. 그리고는버스 안에서 필자의 사진을 찍는다.
When I arrive in a village, students are going to home.
They came to me with curiosity and I handed out the pamphlet to the students, and all go away in an instant.
The students who were waiting on the bus came to me.

20. 이를 본 마을 사람들과 함께. 마침 결혼식 행사가 있었던 같다.

25. 멀리서부터 사람들이 보인다 싶었는데 이 아이들이 비를 맞으며 나그네를 기다리고 있었다. 버스를 타고 가다가 필자를 발견하고서는 동네어귀에 내린 김에 필자를 만나고 가려고 기다린 것이다.

I wanted to see people from afar, but these children were waiting for me the traveler in the rain.They found walking me on the bus and waited for me while I was at the enterance of the neighborhood.
It is wonderful.

It is the town of Ginovtsi, the destination of today.
29. 지붕이 있는 정류장에서 버스를 기다린다.
I wait for a bus at the bus stop with the roof.
30. 한시간만에 버스가 왔다.
After waiting for an hour, a bus comes.
31. 기사가 필자를 알고 있는듯 하다.
It seems that the bus driver know me, walking traveler.
32. 승객도 그런듯 하다. 어제부터 다니다 보니 이 길을 오가는 사람들에게 소문이 났나 보다.
The passenger seems to be the same. I have been traveling since yesterday, and there must be rumors about me, walking traveler, among people coming and going.

34. 하루종일 식당을 만나지 못해서 점심을 제대로 먹지 못한 대신 저녁식사가 맛있었다.
I could not find a restaurant all day, so I could not eat lunch properly, but dinner was delicious.
