The sighboard has the stamp and signature of the writer.

It reminds me of the calligraphy of Kim Jeong-hee, a famous Korean calligrapher.

모처럼 스시를 먹다. 여기는 살짝 익힌 게 절반이다.

We ate long-awaited sushi.  Half of the sushi were cooked "medium level."

로봇제작업소 같은데 기능은 어느 정도인지 모르겠다.

To Korean comrades and foreign comrades

서울을 떠난지 3주쯤 되는 때 울산에서 만난 명본스님의 말씀:

"일을 함께 하면 친해진다. 친했던 사이도 공동의 일이 없으면 자연히 멀어진다."

Myoung Bok, a Buddhist monk whom I met in Ulsan, Korea, about three weeks after I left Seoul.

"If you work together, you become friendly.  If you do not have a common work, you will get away naturally."

명언입니다. 생각해보니,

"친한 사람이 일을 함께 하는 것이 아니라 일을 함께 한 사람이 친해지는 것이다."

이겁니다.

I think it is a wise saying. 

The point is that people who work together become friends naturally.

인류가 함께 일을 해갈 수 있는 무언가의 것을 한다면,

안전과 평화는 덤으로 오겠지요~

그리하여 새로운 가능성을 상상합니다. 

If mankind finds something to work together, safety and peace will come to us.

So I try to imagine a new possibility.

"세계생명헌장 : 서울안"은 그 내용은 별개로 치고 그 과정이 의미있습니다.

준비작업과 공표작업이 시기적으로 장소적으로 잘 어울려 만들어진 작품이라고 할 만합니다.  저는 헌장작업이 실크로드가 추구하는 새 국제기구결성의 구조에 있어서 다음 그림과 같은 의미가 있다고 봅니다.

The "World Charter on Life: Seoul Draft" was very meaningful, apart from its contents.  It was a well organized work.  The preparation and publication of World Charter on Life were proceeded very properly both in time and space.  I think world life charter will will play an important role in establishment of a new international organization pursued by Silk Road, like the diagram below.

​세계생명헌장은 새 국제기구의 기둥과 같은 것입니다.

이름하여 가치의 기둥.

세계생명헌장의 후속작업을 특정인들의 노력이 아니라 지구촌의 모든 사람이 함께 참여할 수 있는 마당에서 열어갈 수 있다면 어떨까 하는 것입니다.

이에 대해 함께 생각해보면 좋겠습니다~ 

The World Charter of Life is like the pillars of a new international organization.

It can also be called a pillar of value.

I hope that the follow-up work of the World Life Charter may be pursed by everyone in the global village, not by a few experts.
