The heart of the Bible is that God is light. "This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all."
When we come to God, who is the light, we are going with the blood of Jesus. When we talk about the blood of Jesus, we have to talk about our sins. If we confess our sins, God forgives us and takes care of our sins.
Jesus is the power to deal with sin; forgives our sins and cleanses us from all unrighteousness.
