Jordan Pond in Arcadia National Park, Maine

     Jordan Pond is a huge lake located in the Cadillac Mountains within the Arcadia National Park in Maine.  It is a glacial lake and has cold, deep blue, and transparent water. When I visited this pond three summers ago, I was impressed by this pristine tranquil lake and its fantastic surrounding hills and white clouds floating over the lake.


The serene Jordan Pond is reflecting round hills and white clouds  on its surface.


Visitors are enjoying their teas and coffees on benches in front of a wooden restaurant
near the Jordan Pond.


Visitors are slowly walking down the trail to the shore of the lake.


Jordan Pond is surrounded by towering conifers such as pine trees and firs.


Jordan Pond has diverse wild plants such as these in its vicinity.


Visitors can see beautiful rocks at the bottom of the lake through the crystal clear water.

Wow~! It's so beautiful.....I would definitely go there someday.....I would liket to have a cup of tea near by the pond...
