안개에 쌓인 도시와 갈매기들이 노니고 있는 교회탑이 보였어
나트륨 등 아래에선 칙칙한 색을 한 말들이 집으로 향하고 있었어
난 나룻배에 타고 있는 두 사제를 보았어
추운 겨울밤 쩔쩔매는 거위같았지

*스팅자신의 기존종교에대한 회의적인 생각이 풍자적으로
표현된 노래입니다. 소울케이지스음반의 색체자체가 그런
편이죠. 하지만 종교를 비판하기위한것이라고보긴 힘들고,
종교로도 통제하기 힘든 고통을 드러내고자 한 것이 아닌
가 싶습니다.
이제야 이노래의 뜻이 완전히 통하는군요..저자신에게.
