I disagree with that statement due to following reasons.
- Playing with others and enjoying time together is a great way
to relieve the day’s stress.
- Taking on a challenge and facing competition also makes games enjoyable,
especially when it involves strategic thinking.
People play games mainly because they are an enjoyable and relaxing activity. However, some people believe that a game is fun only if they win. I disagree with this point because games are always fun if they are interactive, challenging, and competitive.
To begin, games are fun regardless of who wins because the fun comes out of the process of playing the game and interacting with other people. For example, even if one loses a board game, it is great to get together with family or friends and do something other than simply watching TV. In addition, people tend to talk and laugh a lot during games because they feel relaxed. This can provide many social and group benefits.
Secondly, we do not have to win a game to enjoy the challenge of it. Trying to beat an opponent in a game, regardless of the outcome, can be very challenging and fun to all participants and viewers. It is also fun to learn strategies and tips by watching the opponent’s playing style.
In conclusion, there are other things besides winning that makes games fun. Playing with others and enjoying time together is a great way to relieve the day’s stress. Taking on a challenge and facing competition also makes games enjoyable, especially when it involves strategic thinking. Therefore, we do not have to necessarily win a game to find enjoyment in it.
