† Let us make our tomorrow better (Future) †
All around the world people are worried about tomorrow (future). Parents worried about children and children worried about study. President worried about nation & nation worried about the fluctuation in prices. By worrying about tomorrow, we destroy the joy of today. Friends, don’t worry about tomorrow. Matthew 6 : 34 ~ Today, I want to share with you the secret “How to make our tomorrow better”.
1st Peter 5 : 6 ~ 7
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you
up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
⓵ Let us humble ourselves. ⓶ Under God’s Mighty hand & obey His commands.
⓷ God will lift us up in His due time. ⓸ Cast all your anxiety on Him. ⓹ Why, because He care for us.
1. King Hezekiah made his tomorrow better.
Prophet Isaiah came to Hezekiah & gave very bad News that Hezekiah is going to die within 3 days. King Hezekiah did not understand what to do? how to have healing? And where to go for solution?
2nd. Kings 20 : 2 ~ 3 (God first, You then, later I)
Hezekiah turned his face to the wall & prayed to the Lord, “Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully & with wholehearted devotion & have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly.
Today it’s a question for each one of us. If we’ve critical situation. If there is no way? All ways are block. Everywhere is darkness. Maybe spouses, relatives, children left us. What we’ve to do? Just focus the Lord.
Hebrews 3 : 1
Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus,
Hebrews 12 : 2 ~~~ fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.
2. King David made his tomorrow better. (Matthew 6 : 13 And lead us not into temptation,)
Dear brothers and sisters, after the defaulter of king Saul. God called David to be the king of Israel.
Acts 13 : 22 (Saul only remorse not repent)
After removing Saul, He made David their king. God testified concerning him: ‘I have found
David son of Jesse, a man after My own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.’
After all man is man. David also disappointed God but good thing, what we can found in the life span of David. David confess his mistakes. David not only confess but he repent & restore the relationship with God. David count the people (Army) of God and slept with Bathsheba and cheated her husband.
Psalms 51 : 1 ~ 2 (David repented not remorse)
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great
compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity & cleanse me from my sin.
3. Hagar made her tomorrow better.
Hagar the slave girl of Sarah. When Sarah sent her away. In the wilderness, food & water for her & son Ishmael was finished. She didn’t understand what to do? She kneel down and prayed to God for help.
Genesis 21 : 16 ~ 17
Then she went off and sat down about a bow-shot away, for she thought, “I can’ not watch the boy
die.” And as she sat there, she began to sob. God heard the boy crying, and the angel of God
called to Hagar from heaven & said to her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Do not be afraid;
God has heard the boy crying as he lies there.
God is not God of Hagar & Ishmael. He is our God too. Call Him in our distress, surely He will answer.
Jeremiah 33 : 3
‘Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’
Lamentations 3 : 22 ~ 23 --- Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His
compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
4. Hannah made her tomorrow better.
Hannah was a barren lady. Her rival Peninnah provoked Hannah all the time. Hannah was so pitiful.
1st. Samuel 1 : 7
This went on year after year. Whenever Hannah went up to the house
of the Lord, her rival provoked her till she wept and would not eat.
Each day, was so bitter for Hannah. Everyday Peninnah provoked her. We can see Hannah never stopped praying. Each year she went to Temple with her husband to pray & finally God made her tomorrow best.
1st. Samuel 1 : 10 ~~~ In her deep anguish Hannah prayed to the Lord, weeping bitterly.
Hannah gave Samuel to the Lord. She kept her promise. She never said, God give me another child. Then I’ll give Samuel to You. She took Samuel went to Temple & gave it to God that he serve the Lord.
1st. Samuel 1 : 28 ~~~ So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life
he will be given over to the Lord.” And he worshiped the Lord there.
Later Hannah gave birth to 7 children. Hannah kept promise. Make promise & keep promise. Especially with God.
Ecclesiastes 5 : 5 ~ 6
It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it. Do not let your mouth
lead you into sin. And do not protest to the temple messenger, “My vow was a mistake.”
Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands?
5. Samaritan woman made her tomorrow better.
Jews didn’t have fellowship with Samaritans. But Jesus associated with Samaritan woman & asked her to give Him water. At 1st. this woman hide herself, her past but Jesus told woman her past, present & future. (read John 4 : 1 ~ 42) This Samaritan woman was having 5 husband & 6th one not married yet.
John 4 : 28 ~ 30 ⓻⓼⓾
Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people,
“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?”
They came out of the town and made their way toward Him.
Before this incident. Woman hide herself, she came to get water at noon time. She didn’t meet people but after meeting Jesus. She became New. She went bravely & told everyone about Jesus. Let’s meet Jesus personally & tell others bravely. Samaritan woman made her future bright. What about you & me?
Matthew 16 : 16 ~~~ Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Revelation 17 : 14 They will wage war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will triumph over them because He is Lord of lords & King of kings & with Him will be His called, chosen & faithful followers.
Conclusion :-
Friends, God is not God of Hezekiah, David, Hagar, Hannah or Samaritan woman. God is our God too. If God change Hezekiah, David, Hagar, Hannah or Samaritan woman’s tomorrow (Future). He can bless us too. He can change our tomorrow too. Just come before Him. He’s calling each one of us to give us peace.
Matthew 11 : 28 ~ “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Joshua 1 : 5 ~~~ No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life.
As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.

더 나은 내일(미래)을 만듭시다
전 세계 사람들은 내일(미래)을 걱정합니다. 부모는 자녀를 걱정하고 자녀는 공부에 대해 걱정합니다. 대통령은 국민을 걱정하고 국민은 물가의 변동을 걱정합니다. 내일을 걱정함으로써 우리는 오늘의 기쁨을 망가뜨립니다. 내일에 대해 염려하지 마십시오. (마태복음 6 : 34)
오늘 저는 더 나은 내일을 만드는 비밀을 여러분과 나누고자 합니다.
베드로전서 5 : 6 ~ 7
그러므로 하나님의 능하신 손 아래에서 겸손하라 때가 되면 너희를
높이시리라 너희 염려를 다 주께 맡기라 이는 그가 너희를 돌보심이라.
⓵ 겸손합시다. ⓶ 전능하신 하나님의 손아래에서 그분의 명령에 순종하십시오. ⓷ 하나님께서 그분의 적당한 때에 우리를 높이실 것입니다. ⓸ 모든 염려를 그분께 맡기십시오. ⓹ 그분이 우리를 돌보시기 때문입니다.
1. 히스기야 왕은 더 나은 내일을 만들었습니다.
선지자 이사야가 히스기야에게 와서 히스기야 왕이 3일 내에 죽을 것이라는 매우 나쁜 소식을 전해주었습니다. 히스기야 왕은 무엇을 해야 할지, 어떻게 치유 받을지, 해결을 위해 어디로 가야할지 몰랐습니다.
열왕기하 20 : 2 ~ 3 (하나님 먼저, 너먼저 그리고 나)
히스기야가 낯을 벽으로 향하고 여호와께 기도하여 이르되 여호와여 구하오니 내가 진실과 전심으로
주 앞에 행하며 주께서 보시기에 선하게 행한 것을 기억하옵소서 하고 히스기야가 심히 통곡하더라.
오늘 이것이 우리 각자에 대한 질문입니다. 우리가 극한 상황에 처했다면, 방법이 없다면, 모든
길이 막혔고 어디에나 어둠이고, 아마도 배우자, 친척, 자녀가 우리를 떠난다면
우리는 무엇을 해야 할까요? 주님께 집중하십시오.
히브리서 3 : 1
그러므로 함께 하늘의 부르심을 받은 거룩한 형제들아 우리가
믿는 도리의 사도이시며 대제사장이신 예수를 깊이 생각하라.
히브리서 12 : 2 ~~~~ 믿음의 주요 또 온전하게 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자.
2. 다윗왕은 더 나은 내일을 만들었습니다. (마태복음 6:13 우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마시옵고)
형제자매 여러분, 사울 왕이 불순종한 후에 하나님은 다윗이 이스라엘 왕이 되도록 부르셨습니다.
사도행전 13 : 22 (사울은 회개하지 않고 단지 후회했습니다)
폐하시고 다윗을 왕으로 세우시고 증언하여 이르시되 내가 이새의 아들
다윗을 만나니 내 마음에 맞는 사람이라 내 뜻을 다 이루리라 하시더니.
사람인 이상 어쩔 수 없습니다. 다윗도 하나님을 실망시켰지만 다윗의 삶에서 우리가 발견할 수 있는 좋은 점은 잘못을 고백한 것입니다. 다윗은 고백할 뿐 아니라 회개하고 하나님과의 관계를 회복했습니다. 다윗은 하나님의 백성(군대)을 계수했으며 밧세바와 동침했고 그녀의 남편을 속였습니다.
시편 51 : 1 ~ 2 (다윗은 후회하지 않고 회개했습니다)
하나님이여 주의 인자를 따라 내게 은혜를 베푸시며 주의 많은 긍휼을 따라
내 죄악을 지워 주소서 나의 죄악을 말갛게 씻으시며 나의 죄를 깨끗이 제하소서.
3. 하갈은 더 나은 내일을 만들었습니다.
사라가 여종 하갈을 내쫓았을 때 광야에서 그녀와 아들 이스마엘에게 음식과 물이 떨어졌습니다. 그녀는 무엇을 해야 할지 몰랐습니다. 그녀는 도와달라고 무릎 꿇고 하나님께 기도했습니다.
창세기 21 : 16 ~ 17
이르되 아이가 죽는 것을 차마 보지 못하겠다 하고 화살 한 바탕 거리 떨어져 마주 앉아 바라보며 소리 내어 우니 하나님이 그 어린 아이의 소리를 들으셨으므로 하나님의 사자가 하늘에서부터 하갈을 불러 이르시되 하갈아 무슨 일이냐 두려워하지 말라 하나님이 저기 있는 아이의 소리를 들으셨나니.
하나님은 하갈과 이스마엘만의 하나님이 아닙니다. 그분은 우리의 하나님이십니다.
절망 중에 그분을 부르십시오. 틀림없이 그분께서 응답하실 것입니다.
예레미야 33 : 3 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 은밀한 일을 네게 보이리라
예레미야애가 3 : 22 ~ 23
여호와의 인자와 긍휼이 무궁하시므로 우리가 진멸되지 아니함이니이다
이것들이 아침마다 새로우니 주의 성실하심이 크시도소이다.
4. 한나는 더 나은 내일을 만들었습니다.
한나는 불임여성이었습니다. 그녀의 적수인 브닌나는 언제나 한나를 화나게 했습니다. 한나는 너무 처량했습니다.
사무엘상 1 : 7 ~~~ 매년 한나가 여호와의 집에 올라갈 때마다 남편이
그같이 하매 브닌나가 그를 격분시키므로 그가 울고 먹지 아니하니.
한나는 날마다 너무나 괴로웠고 브닌나는 그녀를 화나게 했습니다. 한나가 기도를 멈추지 않았음을 볼 수 있습니다. 매년 남편과 함께 기도하러 성전에 갔고 결국 하나님께서 그녀에게 최고의 내일을 만드셨습니다.
사무엘상 1 : 10 ~~~ 한나가 마음이 괴로워서 여호와께 기도하고 통곡하며.
한나는 사무엘을 주님께 드렸습니다. 그녀는 약속을 지켰습니다. ‘다른 자녀를 주세요, 그러면 사무엘을 드릴게요’라고 말하지 않았습니다. 그녀는 사무엘을 데리고 성전으로 가서 주님을 섬기도록 하나님께 드렸습니다.
사무엘상 1 : 28 ~~~ 그러므로 나도 그를 여호와께 드리되 그의 평생을
여호와께 드리나이다 하고 그가 거기서 여호와께 경배하니라.
이후에 한나는 일곱 자녀를 낳았습니다. 한나는 약속을 지켰습니다. 특히 하나님과의 약속을 하면 약속을 지키십시오.
전도서 5 : 5 ~ 6
서원하고 갚지 아니하는 것보다 서원하지 아니하는 것이 더 나으니 네 입으로 네 육체가 범죄하게 하지 말라 사자 앞에서 내가 서원한 것이 실수라고 말하지 말라 어찌 하나님께서 네 목소리로 말미암아 진노하사 네 손으로 한 것을 멸하시게 하랴.
5. 사마리아 여인은 더 나은 내일을 만들었습니다.
유대인은 사마리아 사람과 상종하지 않았습니다. 하지만 예수님은 사마리아 여인과 어울리셨고 그녀에게 물을 달라고 요청하셨습니다. 처음에 그 여인은 과거를 숨겼지만 예수님은 그녀의 과거, 현재, 미래를 말씀하셨습니다. (요한복음 4:1-42를 읽으십시오) 그 사마리아 여인은 남편이 다섯명 있었고 여섯 번째 사람도 아직 결혼하지 않았습니다.
요한복음 4 : 28 ~ 30 여자가 물동이를 버려두고 동네로 들어가서 사람들에게 이르되 내가 행한 모든 일 을 내게 말한 사람을 와서 보라 이는 그리스도가 아니냐 하니 그들이 동네에서 나와 예수께로 오더라.
이 사건 전에 여인은 숨기려고 한낮에 물을 길으러 왔습니다. 그녀는 사람들을 만나지 않았으나 예수님을 만난 후에 그녀는 새롭게 되었습니다. 그녀는 담대하게 가서 모든 사람에게 예수에 대하여 말했습니다. 인격적으로 예수를 만나 담대하게 말합시다. 사마리아 여인은 미래를 멋지게 만들었습니다. 여러분과 저는 어떻습니까?
마태복음 16:16 시몬 베드로가 대답하여 이르되 주는 그리스도시요 살아 계신 하나님의 아들이시니이다
요한계시록 17:14
그들이 어린 양과 더불어 싸우려니와 어린 양은 만주의 주시요 만왕의 왕이시므로 그들을 이기실 터이요 또 그와 함께 있는 자들 곧 부르심을 받고 택하심을 받은 진실한 자들도 이기리로다.
결론 :- 하나님은 히스기야, 다윗, 하갈, 한나, 사마리아 여인만의 하나님이 아닙니다. 하나님은 또한 우리의 하나님이십니다. 하나님께서 히스기야, 다윗, 하갈, 한나, 사마리아 여인의 내일(미래)을 바꾸셨다면 우리도 축복하실 수 있습니다. 그분은 우리의 내일도 바꾸실 수 있습니다.
그분 앞에 나아오십시오. 그분이 평안을 주시려고 우리 각 사람을 부르십니다.
마태복음 11 : 28 ~~ 수고하고 무거운 짐 진 자들아 다 내게로 오라 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라
여호수아 1:5 ~~~ 네 평생에 너를 능히 대적할 자가 없으리니 내가 모세와 함께 있었던
것 같이 너와 함께 있을 것임이니라 내가 너를 떠나지 아니하며 보리지 아니하리니.
