† The Word of God is like a! †
Friends, there is a funny saying, that we’ve to listen 3 women’s voice carefully to have a successful life. If we want to have happy family life, listen voice of wife. If we want successful life listen mother’s voice and if we want to reach our destiny safely. We have to listen the voice of Navigation woman. But Dear brothers and sisters, if we want to reach God & live with Him eternally. We’ve to listen His voice only. Isaiah 66 : 2
Has not My hand made all these things, and so they came into being?” declares the Lord. “These are the ones I look on with favor: those who are humble and contrite in spirit, & who tremble at My word.
A famous scholar Charles Spurgeon explained “The Word of God is like a lion. You don’t have
to defend a lion. All you have to do is let the lion loose, and the lion will defend itself.”
To have the Holy Bible in home isn’t enough. Read it, listen it & live according to it.
1. Word of God is like Mirror.
James 1 : 23 ~ 24
Anyone who listens to the Word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his
face in a mirror & after looking at himself, goes away & immediately forgets what he looks like.
Brothers & sisters, Holy Bible or Word of God is like Mirror. We can see our inner in the Word of God.
Let’s make a habit, read the Word of God & see our image in it. Holy Bible is Mirror for each one of us. Let us examine ourselves, our lives through the Word of God. “Decision is in your hands”.
2. Word of God is like Fire.
Jeremiah 23 : 29
“Is not My word like fire,” declares the Lord, “ and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?
Brothers and sisters in Christ, secondly we can see God denote His Word are like a fire. If we’ve any guilt or filthiness in us, Word of God can burn it all. Word of God cleanse us. Job explained that
Word of God is like fire. God tested him in furnace of fire and he will come forth as gold.
Job 23 : 10 ~~ But He knows the way that I take; when He has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
3. Word of God is like Hammer.
Jeremiah 23 : 29
“Is not My word like fire,” declares the Lord, “ and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces?
Brothers and sisters, Word of God is also like a Hammer. Word of God break every kind of strong rock.
Hammer is used for two purposes. Destruction and construction. With hammer people break the rock & with the same hammer people built homes & shelters. Word of God destroy the stubborn people & also Word of God correct & use the people on right way. “Jesus destruct Saul & construct into Paul.”
4. Word of God is like double edge sword.
Hebrews 4 : 12 ~~ For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword,
Word of God is like a double edged Sword. Which defeat and hurt Devil and his followers. Devil
can’t stand before the Word of God. Read it, listen it, and use it in your lives to have victory.
5. Word of God is like pure gold & honey.
Psalms 19 : 9 ~ 10
The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the Lord are firm, and all of
them are righteous. They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold;
they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.
We know that gold is precious & costly metal. In early days only kings have gold. Wise man presented gold to Jesus at His earthly birth. Which shows that He is King of kings. 2ndly. nothing is
sweeter than honey. Honey is the best medicine and best food in all the ages.
6. Word of God is like water.
Ephesians 5 : 26
to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
Friends, there are lots of beverages but without water we can’t survive. Water is very essential element of our lives. We have to wash and cleanse ourselves with the water. Which is Word of God
7. Word of God is like Food & milk.
Matthew 4 : 4 ~~ Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone,
but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
Flesh needs a food to grow up, and without food we can not live. Word of God is food for our spirits.
1st. Peter 2 : 1 ~ 2
Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
Friends, we’ve to grow up in the Lord day by day. For the new believers Word of God is like milk.
As we grow up in faith. We need hard food. In our sufferings we’ve strong faith in the Lord & face.
8. Word of God is like Light or lamp.
Psalms 119 : 105 ~~~~ Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Word of God is light for us to live in the darkness of this world. We were living in the darkness of sin and death. Word of God is light for our feet. If we will not read and live according to Word of God. Surely we’ll fall in pit. Surely we will gone into hell that’s why David said word is a lamp for my feet,
Psalms 119 : 105 ~~~ Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.
Word of God is like a Lamp. Friends, in this world Devil is making darkness around us. Everyday there is sins around us and Devil drive us to fall in a pit of darkness. Only Word of God is light for our feet.
9. Word of God is a like Seed.
Luke 8 : 11 ~~~ “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.
The word of God is like a Seed that is planted in us. We’ve to cultivate the land of our heart & sow the seed in our hearts. Remember not to let the devil to steal away the seed that is the Word of God in us.
10. Word of God is like Sword.
Ephesians 6 : 17 ~ Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
Friends, In war soldier need a sword to fight. If soldier don’t have sword. He will defeated. Word of God is like a sword. Use the word of God every day to defeat the Devil. Read it, listen it & live according to it.

Joshua 1 : 8
Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you
may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Revelation 1 : 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, & blessed are
those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

하나님 말씀은 ~와 같습니다
성공적인 삶을 살려면 세 여자의 소리를 잘 들어야 한다는 재미있는 말이 있습니다. 행복한 가정생활을 누리려면 아내의 소리를 듣고 성공적인 삶을 살려면 어머니의 소리를 듣고 목적지에 안전하게 도착하려면 네비게이션 여성의 소리를 들어야 합니다. 형제자매 여러분, 하지만 하나님께
다가가고 그분과 영원히 살고자 한다면 그분의 목소리만을 들어야 합니다.
이사야 66 : 2
나 여호와가 말하노라 내 손이 이 모든 것을 지었으므로 그들이 생겼느니라 무릇
마음이 가난하고 심령에 통회하며 내 말을 듣고 떠는 자 그 사람은 내가 돌보려니와
유명한 학자 찰스 스펄전은 말했습니다.
“하나님의 말씀은 사자와 같다. 사자를 변호할 필요는 없다. 사자를 풀어놓기만 하면 사자는
스스로를 변호할 것이다.” 성경을 집에 갖고 있는 것이 다가 아닙니다. 읽고 듣고 그대로 사십시오.
1. 하나님 말씀은 거울과 같습니다.
야고보서 1 : 23 ~ 24
누구든지 말씀을 듣고 행하지 아니하면 그는 거울로 자기의 생긴 얼굴을 보는
사람과 같아서 제 자신을 보고 가서 그 모습이 어떠했는지를 곧 잊어버리거니와.
형제자매 여러분, 성경 곧 하나님의 말씀은 거울과 같습니다. 하나님 말씀 안에서 우리의 내면을 볼 수 있습니다. 하나님 말씀을 읽는 습관을 만들고 그 안에서 우리 모습을 봅시다. 성경은 우리 각 사람을 위한 거울입니다. 하나님 말씀을 통해 우리자신과 우리 삶을 점검합시다. 결정은 여러분에게 달려 있습니다.
2. 하나님 말씀은 불과 같습니다.
예레미야 23 : 29
여호와의 말씀이니라 내 말이 불 같지 아니하냐 바위를 쳐서 부스러뜨리는 방망이 같지 아니하냐.
그리스도 안에 있는 형제자매 여러분, 두 번째, 하나님은 그분의 말씀을 불과 같이 나타내심을 알 수 있습니다. 우리에게 죄와 부정함이 있다면 하나님 말씀으로 그것을 모두 태울 수 있습니다. 하나님 말씀이 우리를 깨끗하게 합니다. 하나님 말씀은 불과 같다고 욥이 말했습니다. 하나님이
그를 불가마 속에서 시험하셔서 그는 순금같이 되어 나올 것입니다.
욥기 23 : 10
그러나 내가 가는 길을 그가 아시나니 그가 나를 단련하신 후에는 내가 순금 같이 되어 나오리라.
3. 하나님 말씀은 망치와 같습니다.
예레미야 23 : 29
여호와의 말씀이니라 내 말이 불 같지 아니하냐 바위를 쳐서 부스러뜨리는 방망이 같지 아니하냐.
형제자매 여러분, 하나님 말씀은 또한 망치와 같습니다. 하나님 말씀은 모든 강한 바위를 깨뜨립니다. 망치는 두 가지 목적으로 사용됩니다. 파괴와 건설입니다. 사람들은 망치로 바위를 깨뜨리고 같은 망치로 집과 보호시설을 짓습니다. 하나님 말씀은 완고한 사람을 깨뜨리고 또한 하나님 말씀은 그 사람을 바로잡아 바른 길에 사용합니다. 예수님은 사울을 깨뜨리셔서 바울로 만드셨습니다.
4. 하나님 말씀은 양날의 검과 같습니다.
히브리서 4 : 12 ~~ 하나님의 말씀은 살아있고 활력이 있어 좌우에 날선 어떤 검보다도 예리하여.
하나님 말씀은 마귀와 추종자들을 이기고 해치는 양날의 검과 같습니다. 마귀는 하나님 말씀
앞에 설 수 없습니다. 여러분의 삶에서 승리를 얻으려면 말씀을 읽고 듣고 사용하십시오.
5. 하나님 말씀은 순수한 금과 꿀 같습니다.
시편 19 : 9 ~ 10 여호와를 경외하는 도는 정결하여 영원까지 이르고 여호와의 법도 진실하여 다
의로우니 금 곧 많은 순금보다 더 사모할 것이며 꿀과 송이꿀보다 더 달도다.
금은 귀하고 값비싼 금속임을 우리는 압니다. 옛날에는 왕만 금을 소유했습니다.
박사들은 예수가 이 땅에 태어나셨을 때 왕의 왕을 보여주는 금을 드렸습니다.
두 번째, 꿀보다 더 단 것은 없습니다. 꿀은 모든 시대에 최고의 약이고 최고의 음식입니다.
6. 하나님 말씀은 물과 같습니다.
에베소서 5 : 26 ~~~ 이는 곧 물로 씻어 말씀으로 깨끗하게 하사 거룩하게 하시고.
수많은 음료가 있지만 우리는 물 없이 생존할 수 없습니다. 물은 우리 삶에 가장 필수적인
것입니다. 하나님 말씀이신 물로 우리를 씻고 깨끗하게 해야 합니다.
7. 하나님 말씀은 음식과 젖입니다.
마태복음 4 : 4 ~~ 예수께서 대답하여 이르시되 기록되었으되 사람이 떡으로만 살 것이 아니요
하나님의 입으로부터 나오는 모든 말씀으로 살 것이라 하였느니라 하시니.
육체는 성장하기 위해 음식이 필요하고 음식이 없이 우리는 살 수 없습니다. 하나님 말씀은 우리 영을 위한 음식입니다.
베드로전서 2 : 1 ~ 2
그러므로 모든 악독과 모든 기만과 외식과 시기와 모든 비방하는 말을 버리고 갓난 아기들 같이
순전하고 신령한 젖을 사모하라 이는 그로 말미암아 너희로 구원에 이르도록 자라게 하려 함이라.
우리는 주 안에서 날마다 성장해야 합니다. 새신자에게 하나님 말씀은 젖과 같습니다.
우리가 믿음이 자랄수록 단단한 음식이 필요합니다. 고난 중에 주 안에서 강한 믿음을 갖게 됩니다.
8. 하나님 말씀은 빛과 등 같습니다.
시편 119 : 105 ~~~~ 주의 말씀은 내 발에 등이요 내 길에 빛이니이다
하나님 말씀은 이 세상의 어둠 속에 살아가기 위한 빛입니다. 우리는 죄와 죽음의 어둠 속에 살고 있었습니다. 하나님 말씀은 우리 발에 빛입니다. 하나님 말씀을 읽지 않고 그에 따라 살지 않는다면 틀림없이 구덩이에 빠질 것입니다. 틀림없이 우리는 지옥에 가게 될 것입니다. 그래서 다윗은 말씀이 내 발에 등이라고 말했습니다.

하나님 말씀은 등과 같습니다. 이 세상에서 마귀는 우리 주변에 어둠을 만들고 있습니다. 날마다 우리 주변에 죄가 있고 마귀는 어둠의 구덩이에 빠지도록 우리를 이끕니다. 하나님의 말씀만이 우리 발에 빛입니다.
9. 하나님 말씀은 씨와 같습니다.
누가복음 8 : 11 ~~~~ 이 비유는 이러하니라 씨는 하나님의 말씀이요
하나님 말씀은 우리 안에 심겨진 씨와 같습니다. 우리는 마음 밭을 갈고 우리 마음에 씨를
뿌려야 합니다. 우리 안에 있는 하나님 말씀의 씨를 마귀가 훔쳐가지 못하도록 합시다.
10. 하나님 말씀은 검과 같습니다.
에베소서 6 : 17 ~~~~ 구원의 투구와 성령의 검 곧 하나님의 말씀을 가지라.
전쟁에서 병사는 싸울 검이 필요합니다. 병사에게 검이 없다면 그는 패배할 것입니다. 하나님 말씀은 검과 같습니다. 마귀를 이기려면 하나님 말씀을 날마다 사용하십시오. 그것을 읽고 듣고 그대로 사십시오.
결론 :- 성경의 10가지 비유를 나누었습니다. 그것을 읽고 듣고 그대로 사십시오.
여호수아 1 : 8 ~~ 이 율법책을 네 입에서 떠나지 말게 하며 주야로 그것을 묵상하여 그 안에 기록된
대로 다 지켜 행하라 그리하면 네 길이 평탄하게 될 것이며 네가 형통하리라.
요한계시록 1 : 3
이 예언의 말씀을 읽는 자와 듣는 자와 그 가운데에 기록한 것을 지키는 자는 복이 있나니 때가 가까움이라.
