Down the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem that day
The soldiers tried to clear the narrow street
But the crowd pressed in to see a man
condemned to die on Calvary
그 날 예루살렘에 있는 고난의 길,
군인들은 그 좁은 길을 정리하려고 했죠
그런데 사람들은 갈보리로 죽으러 가는 사람을
보려고 밀고 들어왔다는...
He was bleeding from a beating.
There were stripes upon His back
And he wore a crown of thorns upon
His haed
And He bore with every step
The scorn of those who cried out for
His death
그는 채찍으로 맞아서 피를 흘리고 있었고
등에는 채찍 자국, 머리엔 가시관을....
그는 죽음을 외치는 사람들의 조롱을 받으며
한 걸음씩 내딛고 있었죠.
Down the Via Dolorosa
Call the way of suffering
Like a lamb came the Messiah,
Christ the king
But the close to walk that road out of
His love for you and me
Down the Via Dolorosa all the way to Calvary
고난의 길, 비아 돌로로사...
양의 모습으로 오신 메시아,
