양지암 조각공원 모형전

제25회 ‘전국 연극제’를 기념하기 위한 전시회로서 지난 해, 양지암 조각공원을 조성하기 위한 공모전에 입상한 작품들의 모형들로 구성되어 있다. 실제작품들은 ‘바다와 인간과 자연의 만남’이란 컨셉트로 거제의 정체성을 조형적으로 형상화하여 거제시 능포동에 소재한 ‘양지암조각공원’에 조성되어 있다.
반상의 구별이 엄격하던 조선시대, 신분의 벽으로 인해 이루지 못한 사랑을 했던 삼돌이와 국화녀의 전설을 가지고 있는 상사(想思)바위와 나란히 자리하고 있는 양지암은 거제도 장승포항에서 부산가는 뱃길에서도 볼 수 있어 더할 나위 없이 아름다운 비경을 지닌 곳이다. 국제경쟁력 있는 창조적인 해양문화관광도시를 지향하는 거제시는 양지암조각공원을 조성함에 있어 전국단위의 공모를 시행해 거제시민들과 관광객들에게 천혜의 자연환경과 조화로운 열린 문화공간을 제공했다. 조각공원 조성에 선정된 작품들의 모형들은 거제시청 청사의 곳곳에 자리하여 예술적 품격을 더한다.
한상엽, 이행균, 문기언, 한용하, 이동훈, 옥현숙, 천원식, 강원택, 주영호, 정광식, 이원경, 이원용, 장준문, 소용석, 이창수, 염상욱, 홍상식, 이기수, 김성회, 김 연, 강이수, 김의구, 김구환, 정성태, 주라영, 위세복, 박지현, 김희양, 김상현, 조민길, 김외칠, 문병탁 등 총 32명의 작가들의 작품이 참가하여 해양문화관광도시, 거제의 또 다른 볼거리를 제공하고 있다.
The Exhibition of sculpture models in Yangjiam Park
- Meeting with Sea, Human and Nature -

This exhibition is in celebration of the 25th Korea Theatre Festival held in Geoje from May 16th to June 4th. Real works imaged the identity of Geoje artistically with the concept of Sea, Human and Nature and they are in Yangjiam park, Neungpodong Geoje.
Yangjiam Park is located by the rock of affection(named Sangsa-bawui) which has a myth of uncompleted love between Samdori and Kukhwanyeo in Chosun Dynasty. In addition, it has a very fine view and we can a waterway from Jangseungpo to Busan, too. Geoje city, aiming at the city of tourism and marine cultural city made the sculpture park here in Yangjiam last year in order to offer open cultural space with God`s blessing nature and increase international competitiveness at the same time. The models in this exhibition are here and there in Geoje city hall.
