모세의 빈자리 담임목사의 빈자리

(출32:1-35)
1 When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said, "Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him." 2 Aaron answered them, "Take off the gold earrings that your wives, your sons and your daughters are wearing, and bring them to me." 3 So all the people took off their earrings and brought them to Aaron. 4 He took what they handed him and made it into an idol cast in the shape of a calf, fashioning it with a tool. Then they said, "These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt." 5 When Aaron saw this, he built an altar in front of the calf and announced, "Tomorrow there will be a festival to the LORD." 6 So the next day the people rose early and sacrificed burnt offerings and presented fellowship offerings. Afterward they sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry. 7 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have become corrupt. 8 They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, 'These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.' 9 "I have seen these people," the LORD said to Moses, "and they are a stiff-necked people. 10 Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation." 11 But Moses sought the favor of the LORD his God. "O LORD," he said, "why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand? 12 Why should the Egyptians say, 'It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth'? Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people. 13 Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self: 'I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever.'" 14 Then the LORD relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened. 15 Moses turned and went down the mountain with the two tablets of the Testimony in his hands. They were inscribed on both sides, front and back. 16 The tablets were the work of God; the writing was the writing of God, engraved on the tablets. 17 When Joshua heard the noise of the people shouting, he said to Moses, "There is the sound of war in the camp." 18 Moses replied: "It is not the sound of victory, it is not the sound of defeat; it is the sound of singing that I hear." 19 When Moses approached the camp and saw the calf and the dancing, his anger burned and he threw the tablets out of his hands, breaking them to pieces at the foot of the mountain. 20 And he took the calf they had made and burned it in the fire; then he ground it to powder, scattered it on the water and made the Israelites drink it. 21 He said to Aaron, "What did these people do to you, that you led them into such great sin?" 22 "Do not be angry, my lord," Aaron answered. "You know how prone these people are to evil. 23 They said to me, 'Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don't know what has happened to him.' 24 So I told them, 'Whoever has any gold jewelry, take it off.' Then they gave me the gold, and I threw it into the fire, and out came this calf!" 25 Moses saw that the people were running wild and that Aaron had let them get out of control and so become a laughingstock to their enemies. 26 So he stood at the entrance to the camp and said, "Whoever is for the LORD, come to me." And all the Levites rallied to him. 27 Then he said to them, "This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: 'Each man strap a sword to his side. Go back and forth through the camp from one end to the other, each killing his brother and friend and neighbor.'" 28 The Levites did as Moses commanded, and that day about three thousand of the people died. 29 Then Moses said, "You have been set apart to the LORD today, for you were against your own sons and brothers, and he has blessed you this day." 30 The next day Moses said to the people, "You have committed a great sin. But now I will go up to the LORD; perhaps I can make atonement for your sin." 31 So Moses went back to the LORD and said, "Oh, what a great sin these people have committed! They have made themselves gods of gold. 32 But now, please forgive their sin--but if not, then blot me out of the book you have written." 33 The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against me I will blot out of my book. 34 Now go, lead the people to the place I spoke of, and my angel will go before you. However, when the time comes for me to punish, I will punish them for their sin." 35 And the LORD struck the people with a plague because of what they did with the calf Aaron had made.
오늘의 말씀
아론(Aron)을 본다
겁쟁이/변절자/핑계쟁이/발뺌하는자/남탓하는 자/상황합리자/
무엇보다도 직무유기(職務遺棄) 불충불성실(不忠不誠實)...
왜 아론이 아론으로 머물렀어야 했는지를
왜 정(正)이 아니고 부(副)가 되었어야만 했는지를 알게 한다
그 어떠한 상황에서도
하나님을 믿으니 모세의 생존도 의심하지 말았어야 했거늘...
모세가 사망했을지도 모른다는 그 생각은
곧 하나님을 믿지 못했다는 그 뜻이 되는 것
모세의 빈자리
소위 부교역자가 있었어도 잘못되어가는 이스라엘을 보니...
선교지에 선교하러 갔을 때마다
그 짧은 시기에 내 섬김의 현장에 항상 문제가 일어났던 기억이 악몽처럼 떠오른다
금송아지 우상
그것을 하나님이라고 의미부여를 하고 언제나 그렇듯 바알과 아세라신을 섬기는 것처럼 제례의식을 하는 모습이라니...
하나님의 진노는 극(極)에 달(達)했고...
급기야 완전진멸(完全盡滅) 모세를 통한 새역사(歷史)를 시작하시겠다는 하나님의 말씀...
모세의 통촉기도(洞燭祈禱)→모세의 진노(震怒)와 십계명 두 돌판의 파쇄(破碎)→금송아지 간 분말섞인 물을 먹임→레위인들을 통한 3000명 도륙
그러함이 하나님의 마음에 어느 정도는 위안(慰安)이 되셨는지...
하나님 역시 역병(疫病)을 통해
수 많은 사람들이 고통(苦痛) 죽음에 이르게 하심
물론 아론이 감당할 수 없는 상황이었다 할지라도
최소한 죽음을 무릎쓰고 제 역할을 했어야 했는데...하는 아쉬움이 남는다
현대시대의 기독인 지도자들은
하나님은 사랑이시라 한다
맞는 말이지만 틀린 말이기도 하다
그 이유는 하나님을 무조건적인 좋다 좋다의 줏대없는 개념없는 인간이 어떻게 하든간에 용납하는 존재의 차원에서 그 용어를 사용하기 까닭이다
하여 얻은 것이 무엇이랴
세상은 질서(秩序)를 잃었고...진정한 사랑을 잃다 잃다 너무나 냉냉 잔인한 세상이 되어가고 있음을 보는 것이다

설국열차가 생각난다
사랑이 존재하지 않는...차별이 난무하는 열차
그 열차는 끝을 모르는 운행을 계속한다
바로
끝을 모르는 역사의 흐름처럼...
아니 그 영화 속에서
언젠가는 멈추게 될 것이고...결국은 모두 동사(凍死)하게 될 것에 대한 예정(豫定)을 묵시(默示)하고 있음인지도 모른다
바로
하나님께서 말씀하신 끝에는... 인 것처럼
현재
중국도 한국도
기독교를 공격하고 있다
호랑이 범 무서운 줄 모르고...
하나님께서 세상을 창조하셨고 통치섭리(統治攝理)하심도 모르고
인간 스스로 모든 것을 통치할 수 있다는 생각을 지님이 결국 사단의 조종(操縱)임도 모르고...
성경을 통해서
하나님은 역사를 통해서 어떻게 결과 되어질 것을 말씀하셨음을 알게 되는 것은 그리 어려운 일이 아니라고 본다
권선징악(勸善懲惡) 사필귀정(事必歸正) 인과응보(因果應報)
전화위복(轉禍爲福) 정의승리(定義勝利)가 그것
오늘날 나는
내가 할 수 있는 것이 아무것도 없다는 것을 깨닫는다
하지만
하나님의 종으로서의 자리를 고수고집(固守固執)하는 것 만큼은 생사(生死)를 걸고 지켜내야 한다는 것쯤은 알고 있다
아론이 그렇게 하지 못한 것
나는 교훈삼아 그렇게 해야 하겠다는 결심을 다시 해 본다
주님!
도와주세요!
지금까지 순교의 때까지 지켜낸 7000만명에게 하셨던 것처럼
이 시대를 살아가는 제게도 끝까지 그 순수(純粹)와 절개(節槪)를 지켜갈 수 있도록... 주여!
