Mori only acts lovely to people she trusts

🍀Sociability with People:
She’s avoidant when strangers suddenly approach her. And she can be easygoing when other people leave her alone.
Mori doesn’t approach people first and act charming, it just takes some time for her to trust someone. When she does, though, she can show interest.
It feels like she just doesn’t know how to show her feeling to people because she hasn’t had a chance to be around people before. So far I think Mori likes men and women equally.
However, she looks like she has some trauma for big men. Mori acts so charming to people who she trusts, and it makes me feel special! :p
🍀Sociability with other dogs:
Same as people. Mori is not interested in playing other dogs, she would just walk away from a dog who she runs into her during a walk, no matter if they bark at her.
But she does warn them when they don’t stop after she clearly wants them to.
We go to a dog cafe, dog field, and dog hotel every weekend, where many dogs run around but she never has had any aggression issues.
🍀Eating habit:
Mori is eating once a day as per the doctor’s suggestion.
Since we change her eating schedule from 3 times a day to one time a day, she never leaves any food.
🍀Potty-Training:
Mori is such a smart dog, she uses a pee-pad right after she got to my place. Also she can go to the bathroom outdoors. And she would just spin at a certain spot and hold it when there’s no pee-pad.
🍀Aggression & Biting Issues:
None
🍀Barking habit:
Mori barks 1 to 3 times when she hears some sound through the door. I’m not sure how she recognizes it but she doesn’t bark if it’s just my family.
🍀Spoiling issue:
She dosn’t have spoiling issues, though I think she doesn’t even know how to play with toys at all.
🍀Touch:
She just let me pet/kiss her and she doesn’t resist even if I pet her a little roughly :p
But she doesn’t like her front paws being touched.
🍀Shed:
She sheds a lot but as long as you brush her everyday, it won’t be a big issue.
🍀Walking outside:
Mori prefers walking in the quiet nature countryside over a busy city, and she doesn’t like being around cars.
She got used to walking by cars but still if there are so many cars and noise then she would walk away from it. And you can see how she gets excited when she walks around nature.
🍀Bath:
I give her a bath once a week with a special shampoo for her skin condition. But depending on her skin condition, it can be once every 2 weeks or once a month.
🍀Sleeping Preference:
No issue. Sometimes I can see Mori fights sleep to be around the family more.
🍀Motion sickness:
None. She even likes driving more than walking. She just jumps in the car and sits.
🍀Charming point:
Mori can look big and tough but she actually has such a pretty face.
🍀Precaution:
Mori needs to wear both a leash and harness when she goes outside. A door fence is also necessary to prevent an unexpected situation from happening.
🍀Ideal Family:
If you are looking for a super friendly dog, even with strangers, then Mori is not the one. She needs a family who would just give her enough time and space to adjust herself first.
Sometimes Mori resists going outside, but it doesn’t mean she likes being alone or inside. Mori can be super active in places that don’t trigger and trauma for her. I hope she can meet a family who would help her get through her trauma.
