영어로 presentation을 위한 노력, 간단하게 끝내지 말고, 더 다양한 표현들을 익혀보자.
발표 도중에 새로운 주제를 도입하는데 있어서 유용한 표현 두가지를 알아보자.
바로 ‘as for’와 ‘regarding’이다. 특히 ‘regarding’은 정말로 대화 도중 참 많이 나오는 표현이다.
‘Regarding’은 거의 ‘about’와 동일한 뜻으로 사용된다고 보면 된다.
Introducing a new topic
As for the question of new packaging, I think… … : ~에 대해서 말하자면
Regarding last quarter’s results, profits were… … : ~에 관하여[대하여]
이번엔 발표를 끝낼 때 사용하는 표현들이다. 모두 완전한 문장이기 때문에 외워두면 좋다.
‘That’s it’도 ‘다 됐다’, ‘그것이 전부이다’의 뜻이 있다. 참고로 그 외에도 ‘바로 그것이다’나 ‘그만해라’의 뜻도 있다.
