Tullamore
This county Offaly town has a staggering incidence rate of 483.6 per 100,000, the highest of any local electoral area in Ireland.
North Inner City Dublin
The area encompassing Drumcondra Road, Dorset Street, Bolton Street and Arran Street on the north side of Dublin is next of the list with a rate of 443.3 per 100k.
Longford
Just below that of the North Inner City, this area had an incidence rate of 442.5.
Navan
The fifth-largest town in Ireland, Navan in Co Meath has a rate of 429.4 for confirmed cases of Covid-19.
Buncrana
Despite Donegal having an incidence rate just above the national average at 164.6, the town of Buncrana far exceeds that at 371.1 per 100,000.
Ballymun-Finglas
The north-side suburb in Dublin has an incidence rate of 358.1
Artane-Whitehall
The area around the Helix mass vaccination centre has an incidence rate 35
Ongar
Dublin 15’s Ongar, situated beside Mulhuddart is the next entry on the list with 337.7 per 100,000.
Ballymahon
This southern Co Longford town is doing better than it’s county town counterpart, but still is one of the highest incidence rates in the country with 332.1
Blanchardstown-Mulhuddart
The north-side Dublin suburb is bringing in an incidence rate of 320 cases per 100,000.
Roscrea-Templemore
The county Tipperary area has a rate of 313.4, more than double the national average.
