우리나라에 도착하니 그런다고?
유가가 올랐을 때는
유조선이 그 날 도착해서
곧바로 올리는 것인가?
철저히 조사해서 차익금을
반드시 세금으로 환수해야 하리라.

Following news of a ceasefire,
Global oil prices took a sharp dive.
Yet, why does it take at least two weeks,
And up to three months,
For local gas stations to reflect the change?
When prices go up, they rise in an instant.
Why, then, do they take so long to fall?
They say it’s because tankers passing through Hormuz
Take anywhere from one to three months
To reach our shores.
But when prices soar,
Do those tankers arrive that very same day
To justify an immediate hike?
A thorough investigation is due;
Any excess profit gained must be
Invariably recovered through taxation.
