カナダのサ?モンから福島由来のセシウムが検出される
For the first time, the Fukushima fingerprint isotope, cesium-134 (134Cs; half-life ~ 2 years), has been detected in a Canadian salmon by the InFORM project. The single sockeye salmon that tested positive was sampled from Okanagan Lake in the summer of 2015.
...one of the samples from Okanagan Lake confirmed the level of 137Cs (0.53 Bq kg-1) and showed a very low (0.07 Bq kg-1), signal for 134Cs, the Fukushima fingerprint isotope.
Based on this measurement, the total cesium (137Cs + 134Cs) radioactivity in this sample is 0.60 Bq kg-1

Our test on 2015 salmon collected in the fall could not detect Cs 134, and it is most likely due to the higher detection limit (about 0.2-0.7bq/kg) with which we cannot see any level like this. (0.07bq/kg)
