- 영한 : 모습을 드러내다/나타다다.
- 영영 : to be present at an event, to attend something or to go somewhere
- 활용 : (명사형) a good turn-out 많은 참석자 / a bad turn-out 적은 참석자
(동사형) A vast crowd turned out to watch the procession. 수많은 군중이 그 행진을 지켜보기 위해 모습을 드러냈다.
- 예문 :
We had a bad turn-out for the company picnic because it rained.
비가 와서 회사 야유회 참석자가 적었어요.
It turned out that she was a friend of my sister.

John: Yes. A committee is going to find out more information on health insurance and they'll tell us what they know at the next meeting.
존: 응. 위원회가 의료보험에 대한 정보를 더 수집해서 다음 회의 때 공지하기로 했어.
