Haunted Plantation - October 11 - October 31 Kicking off on Friday, October 11, one of Hawaii’s scariest haunted attractions is returning to Waipahu! This event will be running from Oct. 11 - 13, 18 - 20, 25 - 27, and the 31st. No walk-ins are allowed and reservations are required. Purchase your tickets here or on location. |
Waikiki Trolley’s Trial of Fears - October 11 - November 2 Also starting on Friday, October 11, a walk-through interactive haunted house experience will be available for the public to “attempt” to escape! This year’s haunted house will feature Dr. Delerio and his Monstrous Oderlies, do you think you’ll be able to make it out of there?! Halloween Costume Contest - October 19, 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Enjoy performances by Studio 808 Danceproject at Ka Makana Ali’i’s Center Court as Magician Kaulana hosts the evening! Keiki are encouraged to dress up in their best costumes for a chance to win amazing prizes as well! |
The Boo Zoo Halloween Event by Storybook Station - October 26, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Happening at Windward Mall’s Center Court, the fun-filled event for the whole ohana, will feature games, a scavenger hunt, character performances, and more! |
Hallow-ZOO SCAREvenger Hunt, October 27 - 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Gather your ohana together and participate in a eerie-sistible scavenger hunt! Keiki and their families will follow creepy clues filled with freaky facts to track down members of the Zoo’s bird ohana and collect creature stamps along the way. Participants will venture down the Haunted Habitat Treat Trail that will feature 15 doors for keiki to trick-or -treat, along with other fun activity stations and more! Hawaii Ghost Stories: A Symphony Spooktacular - October 26 & 27 Tune in for an evening of Hawaii’s best ghost stories and spooky music favorites that will be narrated by HI Now Daily Correspondent Lauren Teruya. Halloween Pau Hana, October 30 - 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Celebrate the spooky season with a costume contest, ono pupus and candy, and more! This event will be located at the Entrepreneurs Sandbox at 643 Ilalo St., Honolulu, HI 96813. The costume contest categories will range from scariest, cutest, funniest, most creative, and most interesting. So get your best costume out and have a night to remember! Boo at the Zoo - October 26 & 27, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m. Head over to the second annual Boo at the Zoo event and participate in trick-or-treating, keiki costume contests, face painting, food vendors, and more! Trick-or-treat bags will be available for purchase for $1 and all the proceeds will go towards the zoo and exhibits. A petting zoo will be open from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 26 and the event parking will be at the zoo parking lot and the Pana’ewa Equestrian Center parking lot. Fins & Frights Night - October 26, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Happening at the Maui Ocean Center there will be costume contests, face painting, trick-or-treating, and a showing of Disney’s “Coco” in 3D inside of the “Sphere de los Muertos.” All keiki are encouraged to dress up as there will be a parade and contest with cool prizes in three age categories! REfreshments will also be available for purchase at the Reef Cafe. Entry is $20 for adults and $10 for keiki (ages 4-12) while admission is free for Maui Ocean Center annual members.
