동물들 소리를 영어로 해보라고요?

  학교 시험, 수능영어, TOEIC, TOEFL, TEPS 등 기존 시험영어의 영어교육이나 학습에 있어 폐해적 요소는 너무나 많지만, 여기서 그 하나의 예를 들어 보려한다. 인간의 언어학습에서 지각능력은 너무나 중요한 역할을 한다. 그중 청각능력도 언어적 표현에 한 부분을 담당하고 있는데, 이런 것을 제대로 교육시키고 학습하는데 활용하지 못하고 있다.

1. blare

to make a loud and usually unpleasant sound 요란하면서 대개 불쾌한 소리를 내

다 

시각적으로 육중하고 청각적으로 시끄러운 듯이 큰 소리로 쾅쾅 소리나는 것을 상상하시길 ~.

Rock music blared through the hall from the loudspeakers.

2. pop

to suddenly break open or come away from something often with a short, loud noise (흔히 짧고 시끄러운 소리가 나면서) 갑자기 터지거나 어떤 것에서 튀어 나가다 , 펑 하고 터지다·뽑히다

3. cock/rooster/hen/chick

 의성어를 가르친다고 다들 cock-a-doodle-doo라고 얼마나 소리치는가!

 1)  cock-a-doodle-doo

The cock is crowing[is going cock-a-doodle-doo／is cock-a-doodle-dooing] on the roof.

수탉이 지붕에서 꼬끼오 하고 울고 있다 

요즘은 농촌에도 닭 기르시는 분이 많지 않으니 ~. 장닭이 아침에 '꼬끼요~'하는 소리가 귀에 쟁쟁해야 제대로 알 수 있는데.
