Gramin 사에서 G1000 으로 명명된 항공전자 통합 시스템을 개발했다. 이 시스템은 경항공기에 장착되어 조종사에게 유용한 정보를 적시에 제공하여 비행을 쉽고 안전하게 할 수 있도록 도와준다.
비행기 조종에 관련된 시스템과 기상정보 및 항공 교통량 정보를 모니터할 수 있는 시스템으로 구성되어 계기판의 액정 패널(LCD)에 깔끔하게 시현해준다. 이 디지털 정보에는 표준 필수 비행계기들 - 자세계, 고도계, 속도계 등등 - 을 크고 시원스럽게 조종사가 읽을 수 있도록 표시해준다.
전자지도는 횡단비행의 즐거움을 배가시켜 준다.

when they need it. Airplane system controls, weather information and
traffic-monitoring systems are clearly rendered on LCD screens, as are the
standard flight instruments--artificial horizon, altimeter, etc.--in big,
easy-to-read digital formats. Digital moving maps further jack up the joy of
